Stone Story RPG Reviews

What!!!

Downloaded the app not expecting much but this is such a unique and well-crafted game!! Everything from visual/sound design to game mechanics is SO well done! Big thanks to the creators - sincerely hope they keep on creating, because it seriously has been a while I’ve seen such a simple yet fun and able-to-surprise game.

Genuinely eye-blessing

I don’t normally write reviews, but the art and the simplistic gameplay alongside the much more complex end game makes this such a good game to relax or to try hard on (make the program code easier to pick up, tryna learn it is like reading Java documentation rn)

Close to perfect game

Amazing soundtrack, great gameplay mechanics and an interesting concept/storyline. Really fun and relaxing to play in my spare time. Barely get any ads which is nice. Very unique game which is rare to find nowadays. No complaints.

Post game is tedious

The game itself is original, well thought out, well designed - that includes the sound and music. The post game stages are disappointingly boring, which is surprising given how good the rest of the game was.

Would be better if you could control your character and it’s also just pretty mid in general, also there’s bots writing your reviews.

To many 5 star reviews to not be bots

Great game to start, post game needs work

The main game is fantastic, can really see the vision from the dev as I’m told to believe the game took 10 years to develop. The graphic style is amazing and the music is great too, the crafting really adds some much needed depth and makes the game feel whole. Biggest issue is the post game and community. First off, FO NOT JOIN THE DISCORD. If you have a differing opinion from anyone about anything subjective they will all dogpile you. The postgame mainly consists of coding, so if your not a fan of coding or don’t wanna give it a go I’d play the main story and leave it there. The whole community uses this coding to try and get the fastest times on certain areas in the game. The main issue is there is only one definite best set up to getting those top times so it leaves very little room for creativity. Unless you mad on coding, don’t bother. In fact I’d say that’s the games main flaw, as soon as you talk to any part of the community the whole idea of figuring out the fastest time to beat an area is done got you as others have already worked it out… it’s just farming yo get this optimal items and what the point anyway because you’ll have the same set up as everyone else…

Best strategy rpg mobile game!

Stone story rpg is hands down the best strategy rpg game I have ever played, it is very trusting in the player to know what they are doing and the art style is also obviously very appealing. 10/10

Stone Story: The game where you can become a very strong rock

Stone Story is honestly one of the best games I’ve played recently, and it’s well deserved. There’s so much that’s good about this game, the ASCII art, gameplay and other stuff. But there is an issue that shows itself in the postgame mostly, being how long it takes to craft large amounts of items. The crafting speed does speed up when there’s multiple to craft, but it takes a couple minutes to make like 100 or 200 items in a row. Maybe if there are more than 10-20 items, all the items would instantly craft instead of going one by one by one by one. Other than that, Stone Story is pretty much perfect.
