I tried this app and didn’t realize there was a trial followed by a subscription. I didn’t like the app once I realized I had to pay for purchases before I made them. Then I noticed a subscription fee on my debit card and they would not refund it. People make mistakes. I honestly missed the part where I was signing up for a subscription.
This app is trash I keep trying to link my cash app card but it keeps telling me that y’all only accept debit cards which my cash app card is a debit card so I’m deleting this app right now right away
I really liked this app used it from time to time until I got charged an annual fee. I was not aware of the annual fee (must have been in small print). Would have considered keeping the app if they refunded me now that I know there’s an annual fee, but since they refused to refund me, I will be deleting my account. If you have an annual fee maybe mention it in more than just the terms and conditions. I don’t like unexpected charges.👎
I just got charged a $23 annual subscription fee. While that’s not much similar services don’t charge that and I couldn’t find anywhere where they mention that fee at all.
-And then refused to refund it. I informed them that I did not authorize the charge and that I didn’t even know what their app is. Their response was: As a StoreCash user, you were charged the annual fee of $24 for the app, We would like to inform you that we only charge the subscription fee after receiving your consent to be charged. As per our policies, unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds at this time. I am not a user of this app nor did I authorize the charge. Terrible. I am disputing with my bank now. -Update, the developer responded with a generic ‘contact us and we’ll help’. I did contact them and they still refused to remove the charge. That still doesn’t help. My bank however, approved the dispute of course because this app charged me without authorization and refused to refund my money. The app still gets an F. Charlatans.
Soon as u link ur card ur charged $23.something that u “agreed” to when accepting the linking terms so beware- BE AWARE- I’m disputing as this is sneaky as can be.
There is an annual fee that is not explained until you complete sign up and enter your debit card information. It’s not as simple as they say to earn rewards and not worth the annual fee. You will pay more for the fee than you will gain in rewards unless you eat fast food very often. Customer service is a bot so non existent.
The app works great my problem was resolved
Charged for subscription I never signed up for. App states it is non refundable because they obtained my consent before charging me. They did not have my consent. I did not get any sort of notice before I was charged.
I just love Storecash app Just received $5.96 savings! First time user!
