At first, according to the instructions, I did an EKG on my Apple watch 8, but the data was never updated to the application. I tried later with the breathing application, but the results were not transmitted to the application either. I couldn't bear to investigate further, so I deleted the whole app :(
At first you may think this app is free to download, but must buy subscription to use. The reason for this is the app’s orientation when you launch the app for the first time. You run through those screens until you get to the final “buy subscription” screen, where there are no way to move forward except buying the plan. And at the same time you can see only example of stress data. This fooled me. It took another go and restart of the app until I understood that the example was there only until my Apple Health data was read and processes by the app. Then I was able to see a week worth of my stress levels. But just a week, no more. This possibly changes after buying the plan - or not, no way of knowing. The app’ UI is confusingly designed. The installation process does not finish, but it is stuck with the plan buying option if you don’t buy subscription. Also with Apple Watch you don’t see stress level numbers on Watch dial, there is only “—“ symbol shown. But you can open the app on Watch, and there you will see the stress data. Clearly the app is not performing as it should on Watch, when you must pop it open to access data. Summing up, this app does much of what Garmin’s watches do regarding stress and energy levels. But wIth Garmin it is free. And so should Apple offer similar use of VHR-data. However, this app is confusingly designed, leaving users questioning if the installation process is finished or not, does the app work with personal data or just examples, and does it not work fully on Watch’s dial.
I really like this app. Haven’t gone full mode yet but probably will soon. It seems to know when I am stressed. I would recommend to anybody.
I like the app well enough, and it seems like it's ok, but I frequently get assessments of 250+ ms HRV, and that's just not possible. The developers told me in a support ticket that these scores aren't counted, but I've come to the conclusion that I don't trust the UI. I've uninstalled this app after several years, multiple phones and multiple watches doing the tracking. I'm not sure any stress app is any more accurate, but I don't trust this one. Frankly, between this and the sleep tracking, I think I want to go back to Android devices. They seemed to be far more accurate and complete for health tracking data.
I love the insights I get right on my watch. I’ve been able to shift my activities from information on the app.
This app has been very interesting in tracking my stress. It’s made me aware of just how stressed and overtaxed my body is on a regular basis. The only thing I wish it could do is take a pulse of how my body normally is and then alert me to times when my body is in extreme stress, compared to a normal body.
I paid for a full subscription. It is not due to expire until June 2025. As of today, you locked me out. No notification, as to why. If you cannot notify me refund my money. ASAP. It was “buggy” reporting anyway.!!
My favorite thing about this app is that it tells me when to push myself at the gym and when to back off a bit. It seems to be spot on as to when I am dealing with unusual levels of stress or moderate to severe lack of sleep.
It allows me to see the things that are working for me and what is not.
