## StyleSeat Reviews in United States

### *---- "Unacceptable"
Basically, you all have Forced my clients and I to use Cards to make payments. I have had bad experiences in the past with a with two other apps charging me new client fees on clients that I have had for years. So I did not want a third-party handling my money I did not upgrade because of that but you all cut off my clients from being able to book forcing me to add an account and routing number. now I have $97 on your app that I cannot get off. I do not like my money being held for any amount of time and it will not let me transfer instantly I do not want my clients paying online. I do not want any of my money going through a third-party. I have contacted support. No one has gotten back with me. This is actually the email that I sent a few days ago and as an update, I still cannot access the money.
-- Don’t Yu use this app, 2024-12-30

### *---- "Horrible"
Its security is so bad. They allow people to fake salons and charge a deposit without any insurance. I booked an appointment and my deposit was 100 which is normal for the style I was getting drove to manhattan to find out I was scammed. They messaged me a fake address and asked for the deposit via Apple Pay and blocked me once I got there. I reported it to Apple Pay and I never got my money back when I tried to report the fake salon, you couldn’t even find it.
-- Ladiesroses, 2024-12-30

### *---- "Not as good service"
At first I loved the app it was very easy to use the payout was smooth and I didn’t have to pay any extra fees but now they changed the system to having to pay $35 a month this app is not providing me with the same good service and money i would rather the system go back to not having to pay every month
-- lightskined_.niah, 2024-12-29

### ***** "Booking LOCs Made Easy"
Awesome App! I was looking for a hairstylist in the Houston area that specializes in starter locs, and the process couldn’t have been easier. I found several stylist with glowing feedback. Booking was seamless.
-- imwelch, 2024-12-28

### **--- "App Needs Bug Fixes"
The software seems a bit out dated. I love the concept of this app but there are too many website/app glitches and errors.
-- Blackbeauty654, 2024-12-28

### *---- "changed my appointment time without telling me..."
The app completely changed my appointment time from 11am to 3pm WITHOUT ALERTING ME! I SIGNED UP for an 11am appointment. I showed up at the salon at 11am and texted the stylist who then told me my appointment isnt until 3pm (with screenshot proof). I went and checked the confirmation email and on the email it says 11am-12:45pm, but when I clicked "see my appointment" it said 3pm-4:45pm. I wouldnt even be mad if it would have TOLD ME it changed my time, but no. Not only do you have to go into the email and past the fake time it gives you, but you have to go into the email, past the fake time, AND press the "see my appointment" button. Couldnt end up making it so I cancelled. The cherry on top... I had to pay a booking fee for that. and apparently stylists have to pay to use it. If I was a stylist I wouldnt drop a DIME on this garbage fire.
-- ihatethusdumbappbutlovetrump, 2024-12-27

### ***-- "Availability issues"
This update literally Broke me being able to only close one day. Now when I want to take a Thursday off for one week it closes Thursday off for every week I have. Before u can do your availability for each week separately now u can’t. This is literally gonna hurt my business and the accuracy of my availability
-- Yourstylistt, 2024-12-26

### ***-- "Decent"
Decent app
-- AngelicUser, 2024-12-26

### *---- "Stylist"
If I could give 0 stars I would… as a stylist the app has so many glitches ..they take a ridiculous percentage of your appointment. Stylseat book’s appointments with no notifications… the app is slow, just bad
-- Doesn’t work ! Broken, 2024-12-24

### **--- "Professional and Client"
App could use several improvements. It crashes A LOT. Only thing I do love is the ability to search different styles and professionals no matter your location but that has changed since the added client connection. So I’m paying $35 just for my clients to use the app. It no longer benefits professionals.
