StyleSeat - Salon Appointments

I’m from the U.K. and I signed up to the styleseat platform to explore their functionality. Having decided that it didn’t work for my business, I uninstalled the app. Here is where the problems started… The marketing emailed began flooding in so I tried to unsubscribe by hitting the ‘unsubscribe’ button but I receive this message: “ 403 ERROR: The Amazon CloudFront distribution is configured to block access from your country. We can't connect to the server for this app or website at this time. There might be too much traffic or a configuration error. Try again later, or contact the app or website owner.” It appears if you’re outside of the US you simply can’t unsubscribe from their mailing list and, despite nearly A DOZEN personal emails from me asking to be removed from their mailing list all I seem to receive is an email from their admin support asking me to submit a ticket which ultimately gets ignored. My last attempt saw the admin support taking nearly a month to reply, and their support email asked if the emails had stopped coming through, with complete disregard for the message I’d originally sent…once again! I never rate apps as low as this, but this is simply an effort to get the team at styleseat to hear my plea to REMOVE ME FROM THEIR MAILING LIST!

Would love it if it would work for the uk

Maybe the app publishers should have tested it before going live!

dear styleseat developers, i hate the new algorithm that you’ve implemented that charges you 40% more (20% for service + automatic 20% gratuity) for your appointment because it’s a “high demand time slot”. and the nerve to add the messaging of “you can book another day to get regular pricing” actually, i can’t 😀 you don’t know my schedule. if i see that message for the time slot i need, im just not booking. period. i will find a stylist that uses a different booking system. there must not be many people developing this app that care about how they look and have events to attend. think about your users!!!! sincerely, a machine learning engineer who actually cares about their users 💜

Val is amazing talented hair stylist who I’ve been going to for years. She consistently amazes me. I’m a brunette with hi-lights which is not easy to color. I’m constantly asked where I get my color and cut done. I share her information with a selected few for selfish reasons, haha.

I’ve used StyleSeat probably since 2016 and love it! We are a military family, so moving to a new location every few years and finding a new/great stylist via the app has been soooo helpful. I book tons of services throughout the year and it’s really convenient that I can read reviews, easily look at a stylist’s work photos/portfolios, and pay via the app. I’ve recommended StyleSeat to friends and family and they’ve enjoyed the ease of finding beauty and hair services with the app!

My daughter hair is so bomb and she is fast. I love a fast and detailed braider.
