Good choice of Sports Tracker as a backend
Suunto choose Sports Tracker as a backend. And it was a good choice. But I hate their add-ons - e.g. their adverts which I have to see to hide them from notification. Dear Suunto, please don’t bother me with your adverts. I like your watches but I don’t need your adverts. Thank you.
Great watches and the app
I’m using Suunto for good 10 years. It always provides everything what I needed and in a good style. I like the minimalistic design. The app has changed a lot and the best part was when Suunto started working with TrainingPeaks and I didn’t need to jump between two apps

Create route offline
Currently, I'm using the Suunto Traverse watch, and I no longer expect to be able to pair it directly with the mobile app without a PC and cable. I'm not too keen on analyzing my sports activities, but what I need is the ability to create a route on the mobile app (even in a different app and create a GPX file there) and then load that route into the Suunto app and import it into the watch. I'm considering purchasing the latest Suunto Vertical model, which should have direct connectivity between the watch and the mobile app, but this is not possible without an internet connection. When I'm offline, I can easily load GPX files, but I can't complete the route creation as the app requires internet access at that point. If I'm at a mountain hut in the Alps, sometimes I plan hikes for the following day on-site. Unfortunately, not all huts have reliable mobile signal. Is there any way to solve this? Update: This happens only on iOS. Andoid version of the app works fine.

Nefunkční propojení s aplikací
Po poslední aktualizaci se hodinky nepropojují s aplikací v telefonu. Navzájem se “vidí” ale nedojde k přenosu dat 🤨
Suunto Traverse
U aplikace mi naprosto chybí možnost přímo odeslat vytvořenou trasu do hodinek (přes Bluetooth). Hodinky je nutné připojit k PC kabelem, aby se trasa nahrála (na horách s sebou PC ale jaksi nemám). Zpětnou analýzou pohybu v aplikaci se příliš nezabývám (v tomto směru ale synchronizace funguje).

This the best sport tracking app by far. I love the heat maps, so I can get new paths easily. REQUEST: Please make support for making teams of people that can compete. We have 5 teams, 5 members each, we want to compete and compare results easily.

Dle mého názoru je tato aplikace krok zpět nelze zde měnit nastavení sportovní profilů či nahrávání nových tras. Bez počítače se neobejdete. In my opinion, this application is a step back, it is not possible to change the settings of sports profiles or upload new routes here. You can't do without a computer.
