Great app very easy to use.
Persistent nagging notifications
I am a subscriber and still get nagged to subscribe. I dont get much use out of this so i may ditch it
Committed the cardinal app sin
Inadvertently pressed a ‘restore purchases’ button in-app and with no warning functionality was severely limited in an attempt to railroad me into a yearly subscription. I understand moving to a subscription model but tricking users into an ‘update’ or ‘restore’ that strips out functionality is a sly and dishonest tactic. I’m not usually one for a inordinate focus on change management, but in this case, the SwiftScan team require a lesson in communicating change. I’ve used this app for many years, and supported by paying for a pro version in the early days. Removing the functionality I paid for, regardless of how long ago, is dishonest. Will be looking for alternatives.
The best scanner
For the past decade I have been using scanbot as my main scanner and files storer. I purchased the pro version with confidence it will be worth it and so far it has never failed me. Love being part of such excellent and useful app. Thank u~!!
New version does not recognise my subscription
The latest version of the app is not recognising my existing and still current subscription and is asking me to subscribe again. VERY annoying!!
Disappointed that features are removed
I’ve been using scanbot for a while… I recently noticed that my integration to ToDist has been removed from Scanbot Pro and you have to subscribe to this version to access this feature. It’s disappointing that customers that have paid for services previously are treated this way who supported simple apps i. their earliest iteration.
Rip off subscription model
Since Scanbot Pro change to SwiftScan with no additional features of significance added an annual subscription increase from $34.99 to $50.99 the developer is unfairly ripping off subscribers.
SCAM-bot
Paid VIP fee for lifetime of updates. Now they want me to pay additional subscription fee to receive those updates. I don’t care if you’re business model needed to change. You don’t go stuffing your loyal customers that allowed you to be a business in the first place.
The only scanning app worth your money
Easy to use, works well, plenty of options and most importantly it does exactly what it says it’s going to do.
