Based on my more than 7 years of using Somfy products, I must say that I would never recommend anyone to choose Somfy. I myself would never have chosen Somfy back then based on the knowledge I have now. This app has always been old fashioned, with major bugs and glitches, uggly design, and lack of functionality (for instance you can’t add/remove devices). The startup needs to be refreshed almost every time you open the app – making it annoying to use in everyday life. Even the Watch edition is useless: Every time you want to activate a scene, the watch app show a notification saying you have to log in on the phone… utterly useless!! I’ve already logged in on the phone! The app has during the entire time I’ve been using it (from the beginning) only had minor improvements. Instead of fixing and making the app better and more user friendly, Somfy seem to focus on developing other apps instead… which of course can’t be run with the expensive Tahoma box you’ve purchased last year. Nicely played 👎

Once in a while it becomes impossible to login to the app.. I have no idea why but it’s returning the incorrect login/password message. Fix the problem!

Dette system er så enkelt og nemt at bruge. Genialt den han/hende der vil styre alarm og meget andet selv. Jens

TaHoma and Somfy software, both app and the TaHoma box isn’t modern made. Honestly retire the devs and start all over. Currently the app reloads and the userinterface is slow and way to many clicks to manage. I can’t creat family users. 1 star maximum!

App’en kan ikke længere åbnes og hænger fast i en bootsession. Appen er heller ikke overskuelig og intuitiv at bruge. Kobler man Google Home og Phillips hue sammen med Tahoma, så fremstår det i Google som om der er dobbelt så mange lys, da Tahoma opretter nye enheder. Vores gardiner (som er korrekt sat op og tilsluttet) styres også omvendt via Google assistent, og i Tahoma appen. Når vi vil lukke gardinerne, så åbner den i stedet, men da gardinerne er åbne, så sker der intet. Dette er ikke muligt at lave om på.

Meget velfungerende

Denne app er ret gammeldags og en del af styringen skal foregå via en computer eller tablet browser. Ikke ret smart til en mobil app. Der er mange begrænsninger som gør produktet stort set ubrugeligt. F.eks kan jeg via fjernbetjening styre min terressevarmer trinløst. Via somfy app’en er der kun tændt/slukket/mellem. App’en er langsom at navigere i, så uanset hvad vil det altid være hurtigere at bruge fjernbetjening. App’en virker ikke med siri.
