Waaaay too easy to delete recordings which means is waaay to easily to delete important recordings. And there’s no way to recover them from what I can tell despite apparently being backed up with a cloud service.

Ok so after last update of the app I believe it was the map location sharing update well it wrecked my app for days then I contact support and to my surprise I was contacted right away this gentleman worked resolving my issue alone for two days well beyond your normal expectations from support I don’t want to throw his whole. And out there Mr Thomas your awesome very appreciated your work helping me resolve and as promised a new review and this is as true and real as was the problem itself ; the solution was my iPhone wasn’t updated because I never got hooked to wifi to allow it so after iOS updates! I was back in perfect working order line nothing ever happened Mr Thomas then reminded me to confirm I was so excited all I did go through and listen to all my stuffs I thought I lost So definitely deserve 5 stars from me and highly recommended to anyone inquiring this kind of app this one is at the top in my opinion !!! Thanks Team !!

Has worked nominally for me so far including the lock screen feature (and I appreciate the easy shortcuts compatibility as well), but the app is missing two very important features for my workflow: (1) an ability while recording to quickly delete the voice memo rather than saving; as someone who often does multiple takes of my voice memos, it's frustrating to have to go though after I've recorded 15-20 takes and delete all but one of them (2) [Edit: Addressed!] an ability to play voice memos on loop-- this is critical. I can export them of course, but as someone who often writes in layers, it would be *much* better to be able to loop in-app

A simple interface helps to never miss a recording. The meta data is helpful with long projets.

Hello, I downloaded this app so I can record songs my band sings/plays, and I normally share the recordings with my group chat, and I realized when I was looking at my Home Screen, I realized, that there wasn’t really any cover art, so could yall make an update to where we can upload images as cover art for our songs? Thanks.

I’ve been using this app for a few months and there’s so many things. I really love about it. For me, the big thing is having an action button right on my phone’s Lock Screen so I can quickly start recording audio on the fly. The layout of the app is nicely simple and user friendly. I had a couple things that I needed support to help me figure out, and they were on it immediately and super helpful. If you fancy yourself a budding Fred Again looking to turn your real life field recordings into music, this is the app for you!

I personally never really write reviews for anything unless it has been an app that went downhill, and I enjoyed playing it hoping that the creator see it true update. However, this app is so clear even on the free version. When you replay what you have recorded it even sounds great. I haven’t tried it with music or playing guitar yet, but I use it for journaling due to a disability that I cannot write as much and it is beautiful the clarity and the ease of journaling and putting it into different mixtapes, which I consider folders is awesome!

trimming is only available for $30/year. its crucial missing element that makes the voice memo app a better option for now. fix this!
