testo Smart FAQ
Is testo Smart free?
Yes, testo Smart is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is testo Smart legit?
⚠️ The testo Smart app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Every time I need to use this app you are locking full functionality of app behind requirement to update. We are professionals paying for your tools so we can earn a living! And you are costing us money, I love your gauges and Bluetooth app, but it's not Candy Crush. Get serious and sort out your app development team, it's lovely that you care and updates your software but please consider that when I use the smart testo app I need it to work on the spot at its full. Not to waste my own and my customers time is my priority and it should be yours too! Otherwise, I love the brand and I will keep using it. 3 stars until you fix the problem then 5 stars all day long...
Rob
Worked for a few days but now I’m unable to connect my iPhone at all.
Please testo read the reviews and do something about it. Not even a 2 star rating, for an expensive tool the app is useless.
Good but
App is starting to get good (after quite a few updates) but one issue which ive reported and heard nothing back is that the second screen feature does not work on my macbook pro M1. The app description states that it should work but ive tried everything i can think of to get it to work. Would help if testo would reply to my messages but nothing.
Testo Equipment are becoming a nightmare!
I own the testo clamp and pressure to work with the phone.
You connect up pressure sensor and try and open the app. It tells you to download when u try it’s the up to date app. For love or money you cannot get the dam app to measure the pressure!
Clearly Testo is on a racquet now to most likely fleece the life out of the industry again.
They seem incapable of making apps that work reliably!
Aftersales and punishment charges if you a day late leaving in an analyser £75! If you are a month late they charge you the same money but only allow 11 months.
They are beginning to behave like the SS.
After sales don’t reply, sent in instrument was told it was dead and they are stopping the 330 old shape of 327’s, then told it was repairable then told no can’t fix it.
Time to try and find a quality instrument that you can have trust in from maker and doesn’t take 10 days to be calibrated. Funny they don’t add the ten days it takes them to calibrate them?
Awful
Equipment doesn’t even connect. Don’t bother buying testo if you have a iPhone.
No connection
Connects with the old smart Probes but won’t record. Keeps asking me to download the new Smart app which won’t connect to probes
Poor is an overstatement
Previous version was very basic but it did connect to iPhone; this new version doesn’t upload( keeps showing original screen on opening app, pressing any button then keeps showing a download new screen- which has already been done).
No probes will then connect to the new app.
Invest in your new smart equipment and it’s a total waste of my time and money.
Does this work with the testo 300
Is this meant for gas analysers?
Worst app ever
Doesn’t connect to anything for iPhone
This software could be as great as the instruments
Sadly, Testo’s great hardware, is completely let down by the software.
Here are a few items that are just bad:
1. It is not designed for more than 2 temperature probes at the same time (not 2x differential plots)
2. You can't force "disconnect" probes to connect to another device so (so still can't do 2 differential plots)
3. You can't "lock" the Y Axis - so it changes dependent of the software "mood" even while all devices measuring the same type like fx temperature.
4. If you log for some time – at some point the software stops responding and become sluggish until you delete “captured” data and start a new log session.
5. Export of data is just … slow.
6. You can’t name sensors – so you have to remember the 3-digit numbers – Giving sensors nicknames would help – so you could have a “high/low #1” or “in/out #2” marking on the sensor
7. There is so much wasted space on the graphs. If you have 4 sensors active – it takes up 4 “blocks” of space on 2 lines on the screen – where there is so much empty space it could have been limited to 1 line with smaller blocks.
8. You can’t customize colours
9. There is no fast way to select graph intervals (1m/10m/30m/60m/1h/6h/12h/24h)
10. There is no “auto-scale” graph to “all available data”
