Is Textline free?
Yes, Textline is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Textline legit?
🤔 The Textline app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
There are a dew quirks though.
1. No notification badges unless I set them to persistent.
2. If I’m typing and get a call it erases it and I have to start over.
3. When starting a new message, you have to type the name, exit and go click the list of names for the names to actually show up.

Hey, Textline has worked pretty well for several years. I’ve been using it since the spring of 2019. Definitely a bit buggy and a little clunky but it has worked. I really appreciate a lot of the features and integrations it it has. Unfortunately, the recent update is horrible. I hate the interface. Very blocky and bright and in your face. Please revert to the old one. Also, and this is the worst part, on the mobile phone I am unable to edit contact information or save new contact information. We have multiple users on mobile devices. This is our main way of using Textline. Please correct this issue as soon as possible. For the price that is being paid to use this software, situations like this should not be happening. It’s one of the most expensive software’s on the market. Also, I would just as soon reached out to Support for help but was not able to easily find any information on that. All support buttons on the App Store send it to a generic homepage for Textline. I was unable to find any buttons on the homepage or website to reach out to support.
Horrible and overpriced service!
This company overcharges its customers and is the highest in the industry price-wise. And all while their service and customer support is horrible! Worst of all, they automatically add on costly service fees and require all sorts of personal information and tax ID numbers for a campaign registry. Total scam artists. Beware!
Still no update
We use this service on a daily basis. It functions for the most part, but a major frustration is that you still cannot increase the volume level of the notifications and there are no badges for iPhone users. They have this feature for Android, but cannot implement for iPhone. Feels like it needs to get up to speed with technology today.
No notifications at all
This app notifications do not work AT ALL! We use this texting service heavily and with no notifications of incoming texts its very challenging, we will look for a better option very soon.

I too love the system as other reviewer said, but still no notifications or badges in IOS. As a result I miss critical texts sometimes. Developers when will you fix this? please respond
Frequently unusable
Frequently, my business partners and I open the app to answer customers and can see nothing but a white screen. This has been going on for months, which I think is acceptable from a paid app.
Great app needs notifications
Great app. Awesome solution to communications with great features like shared shortcuts. MAJOR drawback is super weak notifications and sluggish use on ios. Slow to update, compared to most apps. There is no badge icon to show messages like every other communications app. I use several small communications apps like Boomerang and Voxer they all have way better notifications. Customer service is great and responsive. Notifications and sluggish need to be solved to make it scaleable and long term use able.
Needs better notifications on the phone
I run a business and personally LOVE textline however I’m irritated it doesn’t give me a proper notification badge about new messages on the phone. It pops up with all my notifications but it can really go missed along with everything else.
Also, when I open the contact details on my phone, I would really like to be able for o click it and call out. Copying and pasting is quite silly.
