When you top up your credit or buy a Travelcard or Bus & Tram Pass, it will be available to collect after 30 minutes when you touch your Oyster card on a yellow card reader as part of a journey on any London bus, or at any Tube, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail or National Rail station within the pay as you go area, tram stop or River Bus pier.
Keeping on top of your spend is easy; see the date, time and cost of your journeys from the last 8 weeks.
The TfL Oyster and contactless app will request access to your camera. This is so that you can scan your payment card. We will never store the scanned pictures. Alternatively you can enter the card details manually.
You can’t currently add Oyster photocards to this app.
You can’t currently buy discounted tickets through the app.
For security reasons the TfL Oyster and contactless app is not supported on jailbroken devices.

Still can’t see journeys made with contactless
This app is great, WHEN it works.
It’s very handy for expense claims, HOWEVER there has been an issue with contactless on the app now since the beginning of September which is STILL not resolved.
I can’t see my contactless cards, I can’t add contactless cards and I can’t get receipts for the journeys I made.
How much longer is this issue going to take to resolve?
Impossible to sign up
Always sorry to give a one-star review, but after experiencing three crashes at different stages of the sign up process it is hard to find any redeeming qualities.
Literally unusable, sorry.
Also: password field does not allow pasting.
Also: the scrollview containing the personal-details form is partially hidden behind the keyboard, making it impossible to see what you’re supposed to type.
Only for UK residens?
Is an UK adress manditory.
Not for tourists
There is no information that you need an UK residential address for signing up before you actually need to enter an address. Please state this on the app page in AppStore.
Doesn’t understand my adress
The app requires me to input my address when registering a contactless card. Every time I try to add it, the app says “Please complete your address details” even though it is completed and all the fields are filled out. I cannot get past this stage. It’s very disappointing.
Broken
Worst sign-up experience in the known universe. Using a password from a password manager results in the password being shown as correct but being declined at the last step, forcing you to start from the beginning. Adding a contactless card is completely broken on iPhone (too much unnecessary JavaScript magic going on in the web view). No password manager support there, not even any pasting allowed. Despite being updated recently, password policy still does not follow the NIST guidelines (get rid of the composition rules!)

I live in Norway. Not able to register since I don’t have a UK adress.
