No text being sent to non-UK phone numbers for authentication, despite the fact that one CAN register with foreign address and number (as stated on the TFL website). Totally useless app now, but can’t give zero stars.
Mandatory MFA added with my Dutch mobile number, since that moment unable to access my account anymore as MFA codes won’t be send to foreign phone numbers. Ridiculous.
I live in Belgium, work in the UK, and still have a Dutch phone number, so I have iPhone dual Sim with UK number, no problem using the App...
Account and app have become useless. Cannot access my account with the verification method: no text is sent to my NL phone number. Do however get a message to my (NL phone number) phone when the balance drops below £10.
Cannot reach or see the fields you need to fill in because they are covered by the keyboard. Then, after much hassle, I just found out you can only get this app working with a UK phone number despite what it says. Brexit much?
Devs haven’t even tested this properly. Don’t waste your time if you are downloading from the Netherlands
As many others have previously found out and commented, this application process only works when using a UK mobile number! What’s the point in having the option to use a mobile number outside of the UK if you never get the text message to proceed with the opening/securing of an account! 🤷🏼♂️🙄 Luckily, despite not living in the UK anymore, I still retain my UK mobile number so was eventually able to get the text message. I never did receive a text message to my European mobile number though! 🤷🏼♂️🙄 Can’t for the life of me understand why you can’t get the application process right! Many years ago when I tried, you also couldn’t use an address outside of the UK and I actually had to use a VPN to even access my account! Glad to see that you can now. 👍🏼 Could we please get the mobile phone process sorted out properly now as well? 🤔
