Battery life
Recently this app is killing my battery. I like the 5.0 update but it’s unusable like this - my phone heats up and iOS battery settings will regularly say this app used >20% of my battery after reading articles for 20-30min.

Good content, not a great app
Main issue is the refresh to the top of an article before I’ve finished reading, presumably from the ad refreshes. Reminds me of a bush league website that’s way too zealous in getting ad impressions. You can do better, Globe digital team
Lousy app, good content
If only someone would give this app some technical love. Why can I not pinch to zoom? Why does it lose my place in the article when I have to momentarily switch to another app? Why can it not remember that I am a subscriber, forcing me to log in every time? So many questions.
Great writing!
The newspaper covers everything that I find interesting! Reading the Globe keeps me well informed. What I especially enjoy is the quality of the writing. Also, there is so much content that there is plenty for everyone!
App cannot get its act together
The article stream is often a day old. The ePaper has display problems almost daily: blank pages. So frustrating.
accessibility needs attention
The first thing I found is that there are buttons and links that are not labeled. this review keeps crashing my app. Also, the layout of the paper is very tedious to use it would be easier if there was a way to just see the whole paper at one time and if you could stop repeating your sentences, that would be helpful as well. Thank you.

The globes “10 most popular stories,“ is an excellent way to tap into what’s going on around Boston and Massachusetts.
Globe Online
Why are we constantly asked to sign into the Globe online edition when we are already subscribed? We find this incredibly annoying. And it seems no matter how many times we put in our username/password it keeps happening. a longtime subscriber
Terrible format for iPad Pro
The app opens up to what looks like a Table of Contents. How ridiculous and unpleasant. I deleted it and then reinstalled it because I couldn’t believe it was real. It is. It is just awful.
Constant interruption to rate the app
This app interrupts incessantly begging for a rating and a review.
