Dark Mode
The app does what it needs to do and provides great coverage. The audio posts are fantastic for long reads. Needs a Dark Mode and the latest update added an “Up” arrow when reading an article. Not required and needs to be removed. Wasted space and covers parts of the page. On iOS tapping the top automatically brings you to the top of the page. So it is a waste update.
Scammers use this app for phishing
Don’t download this app because the developer/owner allows third party scammers to harm you. I have been “invited” on many occasions while using this app to take party in online surveys by “google” for rewards such as Samsung tablet or iPhone 12. Think about it, why would Google give away iPhones instead of its own for rewards?! I’ve contacted Google and was told these are scams. I never fell for the tricks but some might feel tempted. Beware!
Balance
Nice balance of Japan / Asia / International news. Trying to get away from continual focus and obsession to US news/circus by many news apps
Updated display for XS,XR,XS Max Needed
Can you guys update support for iPhone XS and XS Max displays? It currently doesn’t fit, also login isn’t working and iOS is flagging your logins as insecure. Thanks!
