Great App
Great, easy to use app. Only blighted somewhat by propensity to crash randomly - which is now becoming regularly instead of randomly
Evening Standard SETS THE STANDARD !!!!!!!
What a great publication ! I live I Ireland and up to now have only been able to get this paper when I visit London ( which is my favourite City). Now I feel that I have gone to Heaven being able to access the paper on my IPad . Keep up your excellent work. Regards, Jimmy Adams

A free paper that isn’t free?
Why does a free paper insist on a sign in? I am not paying with my data! And why can’t a sign in be setup with in the app. Very poor! A once good product ruined by marketing people. Good luck convincing advertisers that there is the readership. Time to uninstall I think.
Failed update
I used to happily use this app on a regular basis. Then it broke when ios17 came out which I accept can happen but it took a while to fix. Now it opens but insists on registering without any explanation as to why they now want your email address where they didn’t need it before. This is a big fail in the user experience for me and I’m not going to provide my email without them at least explaining why they now NEED this. I’ll check back in a week or so to see if they’ve dropped this requirement (from which we could infer all sorts of sneaky intent), and if not the app will be deleted.

why log in?
why do i have to log in? and why can’t i set this up in the app? this is so bad… as soon as you send someone away from the app, why come back?

You now have to login to use this app. There’s no way I’m doing that so I’ve deleted it.
Fail
Not working , app keeps crashing since iOS update :-( Update : iOS app update now makes app operational however now requires a ‘sign-in’ ( create account) prior to accessing any content . Maybe they should now explain why this is the case? , and to what gain unless they’re heading towards a subscription model ??? App content now unaccessible until you create account. Great …. NOT :-/
