Love this for getting some of the harder rudiments down and practicing them at slower and higher speeds.

Awesome

Awesome app made with a lot of care to the fine details eg. There are notes for each rhythm. Would love it if the note being played was highlighted so it is easier to play along to. Also would be nice if the 40 rudiments were numbered so one knows the ideal order to learn them in.

Nearly perfect

I am finding this app very helpful but wish you could see the highlighted notes as you pass through the bars and also tempo control would be nice... I have my iPad plugged into my Roland kit and play with the examples which works great as I can view the same pattern on my Roland screen and match the notes. But am very pleased. Anyone learning to play kit should have this app

Great app

If you are a beginner or consider yourself to be a more advanced drummer and want to learn drum notation then you won't need another app. This app covers a lot of grooves , yes granted there could be more, and the ability to change tempo would be great but there is more than enough for the average drummer to play and repeat and actually be able to see the notation to what they are playing, in my view this is the best way to learn. I have used the word beginner here a few times, don't be mistaken this app would be appreciated be all those want to learn how to read drum music , again I think more drummers would come to see that it's not too difficult to pick up and understand the flexibility to use this ability. Good app.

About time!

Finally, 1 year later, we get 'some' updates! Would be great if we see more of these!

Same as free app

I got this thinking I would get more on the paid version compared to the free app. No! I get no ads which were small anyway and a practice timer which I'll never use. All the rudiments etc are the same as the free one. Come on don't rip your paying customers off and make the paid version better.

5 stars but needs updates!

This app looks fantastic, all 40 rudiments In your pocket! All that needs changing is the fact you cannot change speed of the examples to practice to, then I will recommend to all of my drumming friends! And that's a promise.
