ThermoWorks Reviews

Superb Products

These are the best products I have ever used. I have 2 Smokes, 1 Signals, the Thermapen, and the Billows. Love using my Billows with my PK 360. Perfect temp for hours with minimal charcoal. You can’t go wrong with these products. Customer service is phenomenal. Had one glitch with my first Smokes and they sent me another one immediately. Come to find out it was the temp probe. Replaced those and still using both Smokes.

Great if you have a connected device

This is a great app if you can connect your ThermoWorks thermometer to it. Some of the interface could be improved. Like how to recall previous cook graph and naming a cook. Also could use some improvement on the naming of options such as “save and archive”, what does that mean, does it mean I end thr cook I’m doing?? Seems like this was made by engineers.. which I understand, but other people may not.

Alarms too quiet

Joiese on

In general, this app works wonderful, but since the alarms are often too quiet and will not wake me up or get my attention, it is nowhere near as useful as it could be.

Great products! Absolutely top notch, what else can I say?!?👍🏻

It’s a convenient, accurate, and reliable way to keep track of how the smoker and the food in it are doing.

After having many connections issues with a MEATER block I decided to try ThermoWorks Signal. Not one issue. Wish I would of done this first.

Good free features

It’s a nifty app when used with their excellent Node Wi-Fi-enabled temperature sensors. Best part is it’s free. I haven’t figured out how to change the time scale so I can see last day, last week and such.

ThermoWorks signals great product

WhiskyBrisket on

Great tool to help BBQ especially several items at different temp targets. Very accurate much better than whatever the grill/smoker comes with standard. Only gripe is it used to scale the graph when deselecting the smoker readout to see cook details better, or vice versa to see detailed smoker changes. Had a update and now it doesn’t do that…bring it back!

Ultimate bbq tool

The thermometer is very accurate and I love being able to monitor everything on the go with my phone. No more babysitting the fire. This is the ultimate bbq tool!

Saved me Hundred$

Howdydooit on

The app works great except for one quibble - I’d like to be able to zoom the timeline to make it easier to see events. I had a drop in my hot tub temperature by 5° in the winter. As it turned out I tripped a breaker and the heater went off. Frozen plumbing and/or a frozen heater would have cost me a service call, labor and parts for the plumbing, and possibly a new heater. So this temperature monitor sent me an alert based on a predetermined setting. I could also see the ambient temp around the spa to get a more granular picture than a weather app. This is in the shade, so it’s typically cooler that time of day that reported wet patcher for my zip code. I wanted to zoom the timeline to see if I could pin down when the event occurred (date/time), and that is not possible. Sometimes the timeline is so dense you can’t really drill into the timeline because it’s so dense. A drop from 103° to 98° in a well insulated spa can take many hours - could be a few days, yet I could not pin down the beginning of that slope because the data on the timeline is so dense. Hence, a ding of one star. Otherwise perfect.
