Awesome product and Tech Support
Had a minor setup issue. Called support and got connected to a real person with out delay who fixed the issue in 19 seconds! RFX works great!
WiFi password issue, not 802.11 complaint
When trying to setup the gateway using the iPhone app, it is limiting the WiFi password to only 40 characters, so I can’t get it to join my network. Per 802.11, passwords can be up to 63 characters. I will try calling support in the morning, but this is a big mistake in the design, which should have been caught before the product released.

This product is Simply Amazing / Couldn’t monitor temp thru the Stainless walls with any other probe / Not a problem with the RFK / Must have 4 any Pitmaster
I guess it works
Expensive hardware, controlled by this garbage app. Clearly developed by the lowest bidder, this app looks like a high school science project. An interaction designer would go a long way sorting the user experience out and making it feel like something that was designed by a professional instead of just thrown together with random terminology and no thought to usability.
Gets the job done but lacks features
The UI could have been designed much better, how about a way to see both proves in one graph? Calculations of cook-time left? Settings are also not user friendly, extremely confusing.
Works great once everything get set up.
The app initially didn’t want to work. Eventually I got it worked out and everything is working fine.
The Billows is great!
I recently added a ThermoWorks Signals and Billows to my Old Country Gravity Fed smoker. It was simple for me to set up and is easy for me to use. I like the fact that I’m no longer chained to a smoker and can monitor and adjust temps from anywhere that has an internet connection. In this smoker it’s holding within less than half a degree temperature across a ten plus hour cook. Definitely recommend!
Can’t even sign into the app
Had to reinstall the app after switching phones and now it won’t even let me log into the app using my password that works fine on the ThermoWorks website. It wants “an uppercase, lowercase and a number”, which it has, but still won’t work…
Best Wireless
Incredible range as I use a Pitmaker vault which has very thick steel. I went with a competitor to begin with and unfortunately, the thick steel defeated the Bluetooth technology for that company. (MEATER no good). I use a lot of ThermoWorks gear so stick with the brand that is trusted trustworthy. Incredible customer service and just plane out works
