Doesn’t work. I wouldn’t advise anyone to but their business money with them! Really bad experience so far - nothing works, and they literally tell you that they don’t know how to fix it!!
First of all the app is unbelievable buggy! Logs you off and ask for face/id verification almost everyday! Help you get from so called customer service is copy-paste automated useless message! Tide charges you ridiculous money for almost everything you do with your money! AVOID AVOID AVOID
TIDE’s number: 020 3893 2915 Do not call costumers right away, if one wants nothing to do with the application straightforward. It’s unsettling.
I joined specifically for the credit builder, which I was told I am not eligible customer service told me to call them just to try sell me on accounting software
Infuriating. Need to go through the verification process each week.
According to their website, “Tide is not a bank”. The developer responded in an opaque manner; the statement in “quotes” is from their website. Of course, the response doesn’t refute this because they know this to be true, otherwise why would that statement be on their website? Oh… compliance and regulations!
This review is clearly at odds with most reviews if the Tide banking app, but I feel compelled to write about the latest problem I am having with the app and with Tide in general. So for the past week every time I log in to the app it treats me as a new customer and I have to set up from scratch, for both my businesses - this recovery processes has happened 10 times now and although I clearly need support and some assistance, my faith in the support process at Tide is so poor that I can hardly bring myself to kick it all off. I need to vote with my feet now as this is the last straw, my advice would be to avoid this tim pot outfit at all costs.
I’ve been signed out of this app twice today and twice I’ve have to upload driving licence to get back in. Really frustrating. Looking for an alternative now.
Why offer business banking that only allows one nominee access to the account??
