TimeFinder Reviews

After I cleared my OPEN APPS my iPad app Would open since update

Eleni333 on

I wish the font in the update wasn't bold. You think it'd be easier to read, but at least for me, the other was quicker to read. Without any bugs, this is a great app and a great idea! I don't know if this'll get read, but originally my review had an appropriate answer, but now, it's been changed to the answer that many do, about how to revert to something more like the old version, but most of my review didn't have anything to do with preferring the old. I'd only had one thing I missed about the old version, which was the non-bold font I mentioned above. I'm just putting this here in case Luke sees it so he doesn't give any others inappropriate answers. Thanks

Simple app but some bugs

The repeat feature seems to be very inconsistent, specifically any event after 8 pm will not repeat for future days, such as reminding myself to get ready for bed and to brush my teeth will not work, other than this it’s a very nice app

Update 😩

Fielding58 on

United States

Have used the old version for nearly 2 years & love it. I don't like the design of the new version & it doesn't work well on my small iPhone screen. I've contacted Luke & hope there's a way to revert back to former version...more stream lined, less busy & simpler. I appreciate his efforts on the update but this is NOT an improvement on the "old" version. 😒 7/18: Luke, sorry if I seemed too critical before but did not expect such a drastic change in font/design when it looked & worked great. Wish app devs gave option to "try" update but go back to former version?! Even after your scaling, still having major Issues on my phone. 1. Task bar jumps up & obscures time entry slot when trying to type. 2. Mark as & Done buttons partially hidden in task bar. 3. On pull down calendar, all second date numbers are missing after 1-9; so 11 is 1, 20 is 2, etc. I had no problems like this with the prior font on my small screen. I did email you a few days ago but didn't hear back. I'm sure you are busy to say the least in sorting all this! Sorry to be so long-winded here but...if I didn't value the app's former ease of use & every day usefulness, I'd just delete & move on. In my opinion you should re-instigate the former design/font & then add new features; best of both worlds! Regards & all the best! 😉 7/23: Discovered with Luke's gracious & patient help that many of the app probs I was having were due to my older iOS, not the new version! Since I hadn't had issues with other app updates, I had no clue it was my phone. Now I know & will work on finding a newer phone. In the meantime I can use the app thanks to Luke doing some work-arounds. I just want to emphasize how great the app is but even more so the developer Luke. I will continue to support this app & Luke! Many thanks again!! 😀 7/25: Updates working much better & great to have swipe function back so thank you! 😉 Is it possible to do a "customization" for font changes: type and/or size at some point? Again, grateful for all your efforts!

But that needs to be fixed!

This app has been so helpful. But I noticed a small bug. There are two dates for 11/3/2024 which is pushing back all the dates by one day onward. This is only visible in the months view. Hope this gets some attention and is fixed soon! It’s not terrible, but a little confusing when planning for future events.

Appreciate the Return of UI design

I really enjoyed the simplicity and compactness that TimeFinder offered earlier this year. The new design makes it less convenient however recently Luke has allowed us to toggle a more compact version of the new design. 🙏 It still misses the more convent swipe to delete/complete task. But I’m adjusting to having to tap twice to change the tasks details. It’s better than the first original redesign. 😀

Hate the new update

Why fix what wasn’t broken? Now the layout is difficult to use as well as ugly! Went from using this app almost daily to finding a new one, I’m very disappointed.

Why the change?

Vintage Maple on

It looks horrible. I’ll probably stop using until a better font is available. Please go back to earlier look

Disappointed about UI update

o. pamela on

I really enjoyed the simplicity and structure of the old version of TimeFinder. The new updates looks and behaves like Google Calendar. So why shouldn’t I now switch over to gcal? I wish there was a way to revert it back. I am now looking for alternative apps.

Awesome App!

I must say that the new update left my quite upset with the design but after a while, I got used to it. The app is generally very flexible and helpful. It is truly a life savior on a daily basis
