Indispensable musical app!

David J Penny on

I’m blown away by this app. It’s beautifully designed, so much fun to use and a great way to learn more about musical theory to help with your playing. It has so many cool hidden features and options but they are designed in such a way that you can access them only when you need them. Really helpful guide with nice videos too. I’m learning guitar and not able to read music and like many guitarists, I rely more on my ear and patterns to navigate the fretboard. Theory can be dry on its own but this app lets you see (and hear!) what’s going on with chords, scales, modes etc and makes it easier to apply to your own playing. Some musical theory can really help your playing and allow you more easily to jam and just have fun playing over tracks. This app will definitely help you get there. And bonus — you can use this app almost like an instrument on its own and actually write songs. So even if you’re instrument isn’t close to hand you can open it up and practice! I really can’t recommend this app enough! Thanks for creating it!!

Congrats

Enjoining very much

Camoniz* on

Enjoining very much. Sill need to find out how to change the number of [#] or [b] when I start a new song. Also I need to find out how to insert a 3/4 bar in a 4/4 song. Any help ??? Thanks Carlos Alberto Moniz (Portugal)

Escalas e Acordes

Alcn255 on

Não compensa pelo preço, só inclui os modos da escala maior e os acordes pré-definidos são basicamente tríades. Infelizmente não consegui o reembolso

In-app purchases gone

I bought things on this app before the rebrand but now they are gone.

Useful app with good UI

fhcdssdddjkng6789 on

I use this app mostly to learn and practice scales on guitar, and it’s absolutely brilliant for that. The app has alot of other features, namely related to songwriting, that I’ve never used. Still, it’s nice to know they are there and I may one day give them a shot.

Disappointed

DataGreed on

First of all the adverts on instagram for this app are misleading. I was sure that you can play the melody on your instrument, it would analyze the sound pitch via microphone and highlight which chord you are plying. It doesn’t do it (at least I dis not find it - the interface is heavily overloaded and it’s hard to navigate). Second - whhen composing it shows the letter chord names only without option to switch to roman numerals for chord names which makes the app pretty pointless to me. The app supposed to suggest you which chords can go next, but it either does not or the interface is so hard to use that I could not find it.
