Can’t earn my XP?!
It’s really annoying how I practice for 1 hour and I only get 80 xp? It happens every time I practice for long hours, please fix this! Overall everything else is great.

I love tonic, and it is a great way to create a link to practise through your phone- which is what usually prevents practice! Amazing how you can receive and get feedback !! I play violin and piano but unfortunately I couldn’t seem to choose both and put down repertoire for both instruments. Otherwise it is great.
A great app really love the choice between public and private sessions On 3 stars because I set up push notifications but I’m not getting the practice reminders 😔
This really helped me practice the piano as a kid and I suggest it for other kids finding it difficult to practice. It’s like a Music Duolingo! Super fun and interactive with minimal glitches. Really recommend it!
I love Tonic, it is a wonderful community and gives me an opportunity to play and listen to people all over the world.
I absolutely love Tonic! It has helped motivate me to practice piano more and enjoy it in the process. I have also met a lot of lovely like-minded people from all walks of life, of all different ages and abilities and we all boost each other’s musical learning journey by listening to each other’s playing, giving tips and suggestions to help improve playing plus sheet music recommendations. I highly recommend Tonic to people who struggle to find motivation for practice.
It is genuinely one of the best decisions to download this app I’ve ever made. I am very competitive and the “gamifying” of practice, through practice streaks and medals and the like is excellent motivation for me. You don’t even have to use it to play for other people, you can create private rooms just so you can track your practice time and consistency. Or you can open your room up and have lovely people join you. (And they will). Yes it is lacking some features and is clearly a work in progress. But they keep adding things and I’m sure it will continue to improve. Great community and overall great app.
Loads of glitches, practically melts my phone, eats my battery in 10 seconds, is just very slow and rubbish. The concept is very good but it is overall rubbish due to the amount of errors. It is so annoying. Hope you guys fix it one day. Until then, rubbish
I love the concept behind this app, but it’s not at all obvious to me how to use it. Very much trial and error. I have now worked out how to record myself and listen to others. Have also added some encouragement to a couple of people, but haven’t received any myself yet. It would be really good if I could listen to my own practice recordings to compare with others.
Tonic by Ray Chen is by far an excellent practice app but still needs an update ASAP!!! I have been with this app over three months now and it still has a LOT of issues!!! Like when your trying to create a new group they’re will be some anonymous people try to mess with your account and u can’t remove them from your group, you can’t even send messages to anyone, you can’t even view your own group anymore, and you cannot hear anyone else’s studios!!! SERIOUSLY THIS APP NEEDS AN UPDATE PATCH ASAP!!! I’m not very happy with this!!! 😡😡😡
