MEDIEVAL II brings Total War’s compelling mix of massive real-time battles and intricate turn-based strategy to iPhone and iPad. Set across three continents during the turbulent Middle Ages, spectacular conflicts and scheming rivals line the path to power as the great kingdoms of the medieval world vie for supremacy. Be it through diplomacy or conquest, trade or subterfuge, you must secure the resources and loyalty required to rule an empire from the shores of Western Europe to the sands of Arabia.
THE STRENGTH OF NATIONS
Unlock up to 17 playable factions and build them into major world powers through statecraft, subterfuge or all-out war.
THE KINGDOMS EXPANSION
Available via in-app purchase, this massive expansion includes 24 playable factions across four unique, fully featured campaigns. Wage war from the jungles of the Americas to the deserts of the Holy Land, from the deceptively gentle shores of the British Isles to the frigid Baltic plains.
THE ART OF WAR
Deploy infantry, archers and cavalry into huge real-time battles, with a full range of medieval weaponry at your command.
THE TOOLS OF STATE
Use sophisticated diplomacy, lucrative trade agreements and daring agents to forge alliances or destabilise your rivals.
THE TEST OF TIME
Shape the destinies of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East through five momentous centuries of combat, competition and conquest.
THE POWER IN YOUR HANDS
Take command, with a brand-new user interface and enhanced touch controls for fingertip control of the battlefield. Or, play with any iPadOS-compatible mouse & keyboard.

What a waste of money this may have been decent for amstrads in 1970 but if it ever was, it's not held the test of time and is absolutely terrible now. If you're thinking of trying it for the love of decency abort, abort now, and go watch paint dry. Pain drying will seem like an action packed rollercoaster of thrills in comparison. 🙄😴🤢🤮

Great game not perfect

Belidarius on

I can’t get enough of this game but that’s just the problem. It would be absolutely perfect if it was expanded, I already paid for all the DLCs, why not add these new factions, units +(maybe more) onto the main game after they have been bought? Then it would be perfection and why not strive for that?

Absolutely amazing game

Please add other Total war classics, like Napoleon total war. This is a great mobile optimised version of the game.

Incredible game but..

When I first got the game it was extremely fun I enjoyed playing the campaigns aswell as the battle scenarios I also enjoyed the large variety of units as it made every faction feel special. But a few things bug me too, one of the problems being how if you were defending a town units will often get stuck on buildings and occasionally ignore your orders entirely another nitpick that made me chuckle was that in the Teutonic campaign in the custom battle panel for Norway the late generals bodyguards profile is a monster ribault But aside from that and a few other bugs it is a very fun and strategic game that I would definitely recommend

So amazing

What’s better than total war on a PC? Total war on IPad on the way to work. It works surprisingly well and makes the train trip go a whole lot quicker. As a bonus, old ladies don’t mind watching you play it and is a good conversation starter. If you like total war games, you can’t go wrong with this one. Obviously its been changed slightly to the pc version, but its still a worthy purchase and good way to exercise the brain and kill time at the same time.

Top tier mobile game

DoctorDrDoctor on

Australia

This is clearly one of if not the best mobile game by virtue of the sheer amount of functions and utility offered in it. Every soldier, every building, all terrain, all weather, all seasons, all countries, all simulated in this masterpiece. The Problem? There’s not enough total war games for mobile.

FIXES NEEDED ASAP

nikkk99 on

Australia

I love this game I play it everyday but the last couple months I haven noticing and experiencing a drastic increase of things not working. To name some. Troop movement when attacking a settlement is so bad that its almost impossible to win because the troop movement is in shambles, units don’t sprint when required which means fast cavalry charges are impossible because the troops only walk, siege equipment fails 50% of the time when attacking or defending a settlement and for whatever reason will not active. Apart from crashing these seem to be the main issues that need to be fixed or else the game cannot be played the way it was intended. There is nothing worse than failing a long campaign simply because bugs/ crashes impacted crucial moments.

Great Game love it (Edit)

Ok so let me start of with saying the great things about this game 1. Great Time Period ✅ 2. This is may be my opinion but i find the game easy to get the hang of if you have played Rome Total War this should be easy for you✅ 3. Good amount of factions to play as only downside is the fact that the Papal States and aztecs timurids and mongols are unplayable but there suppose to appear for events later on in the game so understandable. Considering you can play as plenty of other factions this doesn’t matter✅ 4.Events that make the game interesting as turns go by Black Death gunpowder discovery of America etc ✅5.Cheats✅ 6.Big battles and of course a custom mode of sorts so you can create your own battles✅ 7. There is good customer support and advice✅ 8. All named generals have there own personality and make funny or cool speeches before the start of a battle ✅✅✅✅✅ 9. Historical battles there aren’t much but at least they are there✅ overall a beautiful game a must play
