The application seems to be good, but it doesn’t work correctly, after entering all the data you can no longer buy a ticket, the button simply does not respond. You have to go in and buy a ticket through the website. very uncomfortable.
I recently encountered a frustrating situation with the Two Together Railcard. I purchased it under the impression that it was applicable for train travel across Europe, as I frequently travel outside the UK. The Trainline website, offering tickets throughout Europe, did not clearly specify that this discount was UK-only. After downloading the Railcard, I realized my mistake but was informed that it’s non-refundable once downloaded. This policy seems rigid and unfair, especially given the lack of clear, prominent information on the Railcard’s limitations. As a customer, I feel misled and am seeking a resolution that acknowledges this oversight.
I see lots of customers getting same awful experience and so do I. I’ve been fully charged for the booking but in a second they’re canceling the order for no explained reasons. They’re saying “your money will be refunded during 5 days”, but I’ve lost time and have got a terrible experience with the app. Don’t use the scam application.
I was trying to buy tickets multiple times. I was charged for each of it and every time I got a cancelation. No useful answer from support, only general replies. I spent two days trying to buy tickets through this app, I lost my time. The Trainline app shows available tickets I need, but when I went to the ticket office itself I found out that there are no available tickets. I’ve shown them that the app shows available tickets, and they confirmed it was not true. Support doesn’t provide you with the support. I lost two days thanks to this app.
No way to find ticket number if you need to do anything outside of the app. And the need certainly exists considering they state that the ticket is refundable, but deny the actual refund, so you need to do this through the official railway services(better to use them from get-go)
It has been half of year since I can’t get a refund for a train that was cancelled by the train company itself. I was contacting customer support, but they are only telling that they haven’t got a respond yet. Not worth it
Your money is being credited back to the account used to pay for the ticket. This transfer is normally completed within 5 working days but is dependent on your card issuer
Very bad app. You can buy tickets but if any cancellation happens or you can’t use your bundle tickets, they will just leave you with this alone. They say that Trainline is just an intermediary not responsible for anything! And train companies obviously don’t refund tickets that are bought not directly from them and through this app. Big commission that is not worth it! Don’t recommend the app and the company.
