I mistakenly booked a ticket and contacted Traveloka immediately while the status was still pending. They assured me they would help after the ticket was issued, either by changing the route or offering a voucher. Once the ticket was issued, they refused to assist and told me to contact the airline instead. Their contradictory promises and lack of accountability are unacceptable. I won’t be using Traveloka again.
Don't trust any of the prices - after loading for a minute from trying to check out flight tickets, tickets went from SGD1,100.18 to SGD2,058.02. Crazy price gouging.
It was my first time booking through Traveloka even though I heard about this website for very long ago. I need to attend to my parent who is hospitalised in Siloam Surabaya, I look for the nearest hotel 3 star with good review, G suites by Amithya rating was 8.3. After I checked in it was worse than expected. Blood stained bedsheet, and pillow cover, greyish stained towels (supposed to be white), many whitish stain on the sofa. I know the booking was non refundable, but the hotel is unstayable ! Bad reviews, bad rating, no good judgement on hotel recommendation.
I was booking fine using website but it asks me to download the app. But didn’t change the date. Ended up booking the wrong date.. non refundable non amendable. No plan to use traveloka anymore. Be very wary if customer service uses fake names like Anna
Context: long time Traveloka user (since 2016), first time having to cancel a multi leg journey Singapore - Kuala Lumpur - Singapore - Hong Kong - Singapore Had a harrowing experience as I had to make changes and cancellations to my flights due to a family emergency which forced me to stay in Kuala Lumpur beyond my initial plans. I requested a reschedule the day of the incident (24 hours prior to flight) and didn’t receive any update until three hours later when I was notified that my reschedule request was rejected. Only managed to get around to a cancellation request the next day where the customer service requested I provide proof of my emergency (which I did and required me to spend more time in hospital administration) only to be told my cancellation is rejected as my cancellation timing did not meet airline policy despite traveloka taking a total of THREE HOURS to get back to my initial query On my next reservation (flying out of Singapore to Hong Kong) the customer service agents insisted that they could not do anything to change my flight, I had to call SQ directly to make my reservation change where the SQ agent told me the Traveloka side would have had full autonomy to make the changes. In contrast the SQ agent was very much on the ball and helped me with my issue almost immediately. As a loyal customer for many years, all I can say is I am disgusted by the lack of customer care shown by this company. No empathy was shown for customers in dire circumstances and I will never use their service again.
Notifications settings just doesn't work. I have no need for any promotional materials being sent to me through the app. Only important stuff bookings and dates But turning them off in the app does nothing, Feels like a cashgrab on trying to squeeze marketing on me
Support is just a bunch of incompetent template bots. They present no other tangible value to customers other than combine all flights, since flight rates are just the same or even cheaper as when you book through the airlines themselves
I’ve booked hotel 2 month ago and I tried to check with property (hotel) for my booking status and they said it’s not booked. I’ve reported to Traveloka and they said they are checking, after 1 month around again they said that booking is confirmed. Again I check with property and they said the same thing that my booking is not confirmed by email. That email I forwarded to Traveloka and request for my refund because they are given a false confirmation as property keep denying my booking. We are traveling with family including 5 year kid and in the case, unable to travel without hotel confirmation. I have requested for refund almost 4 days ago and they keep saying they are checking with partners. They have given me a time line that refund will be proceed within 24 hrs and now it’s more that 4 days and still they are saying that checking with partners. My suggestion is not to book from Traveloka as they will make your life hell. They mentally torture you.
I just want to amended the passenger name but they give me a different answer. Push here push there and didn’t get a correct answer. Very bad experience with it.
