Voor en nadelen tov Baseamp
De stap van MapSource naar BaseCamp was een grote stap, maar van BaseCamp naar Tread is geen vergelijk. Zonder twijfel is deze app een leuke toevoeging voor Zumo gebruikers doch het uitstippelen van een route is openen touchscreen niet hetzelfde als op een PC of Mac. BaseCamp en de M1/M2 Mac is trouwens een ramp! Zelf gebruik ik inmiddels de XT2 wat overigens een leuk/goed toestel is. Ik hoop dat Garmin deze commentaar ten harte neemt en ofwel Tread als webapplicatie of toepassing op PC of Mac beschikbaar maakt. In vergelijking met de app MRA heeft Tread nog een lange weg af te leggen, wat zonde is als je weet dat een XT2 toch €600 kost bij aanschaf. Kort samengevat: Tread werkt goed maar mist heel veel functionaliteiten.
Excellent app
This app does what it does: creating a group track and following your group member during a ride. Unlike other reviewers say, this is NOT a planning app. That’s why there is Explore and that app is good as well.
Lacks lots of functionalities
Deceiving poor functionality. Lacks a lot of functions on Ipad (like making a route and map layers) that are available on Iphone. The App is not user friendly, neither the Garmin XT2. Garmin, as an aviation reference, has lots of work to do in road gps’s. I was suprised that BMW motorbikes manufacturer choose for TomTom on their new bikes, now I understand. I’m not a fan of (negative) feedback for products on the internet. This time, I make one: hoping for a serious wake-up call at Garmin.
