This app is very useful, and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is considering embarking on their triathlon journey, but unwilling or unsure as to how to plan their training. I've been through quite a few triathlon training apps, and this one offers one of the clearest and most professional training schedules I've come across, all in a simple and uncluttered layout. Having signed up to do an Ironman distance race, I received a full calendar of training workouts to complete each day until the event (a hefty dose), arranged in periodised 3-4 week cycles. The workouts are detailed, running you through warm ups, build sets, main sets and cool downs. They are based on heart rate zones and critical swim speed (CSS) numbers - coming close to what you would experience if you were working with a real life coach - which can be calculated from within the app as well. These numbers add precision to your training, allowing you to monitor and optimise your exertions in a professional and simple manner. However, as a point of feedback, it would be useful if the app could connect to Apple Health, in order to sync with other relevant data streams captured on my phone, such as diet, sleep etc, for a more accurate picture. Once calibrated, the home page tabs work backwards from the set event date, offering a clear overview of the required training volume by total weekly amount, and for each discipline. This overview has been a good reminder of the event's magnitude throughout my training so far, as the sheer volume and repetition of training can sometimes make you question your motives! Overall I would highly recommend giving this one a go!

I've entered Embrunman Olympic Triathlon this year and need to get more serious about my training, the apps seems great, tough training in places but is helping me train consistently. Would love to be able to log my workouts!
