TwistedWave is a very fast and easy to use audio editor and recorder.
Even when working with huge files, it will remain very fast and fluid, and will never run out of memory.
TwistedWave Recorder is the free version of TwistedWave Audio Editor. You can use it to record and send audio by email. Once the full editing functionality and the extra export options have been purchased, "TwistedWave Recorder" and "TwistedWave Audio Editor" offer the same feature set.

RECORD AUDIO
• No duration limit other than the available storage
• Up to 24 bit / 96 kHz audio if your audio interface supports it

• Record studio quality audio with an external microphone
• Record audio from other music applications with Audiobus
APPLY EFFECTS (with in-app purchase)
• Precision Time Stretching & Pitch Shifting technology licensed from ZTX
• All the AudioUnit extensions (AUv3) available on the App Store can be used with TwistedWave
• Cut, copy / paste audio around
• Fade in / out
• Reverb
• Delay / echo

• Equalizer (parametric, or iPod EQ)

Best Recording app Ever 5stars +
My voice can be heard on hundreds of radio stations in America. I work at the worlds largest broadcasting company, and have told everyone who would listen, to pay for this app. It is the best App I know of. It makes mobile recording affordable and possible for broadcasters and hobbyists around the globe. I recommend you download this app. 5 stars +
Great tool
Nice workaround to record the output of Audiobus instead of creating a new project in Cubasis or Garageband for recording. I had trouble with it at first, but it was fixed once I turned off background audio from my input apps.
Solid
Everything you need for clean recording, plays nice with GarageBand, basic editing functions so you can get decent sound on the fly. I use it all the time, like it very much.
Non-existent monitor function
Not being able to hear the sounds being recorded through Bluetooth headphones or any other means renders this app almost totally useless. I’m not sure the makers have any concept of what a sound engineer does.
Record Rip
Works great to digitally record vinyl records. File export to computer is not intuitive but works.
Update stinks
Since I’ve updated I’m having all kinds of issues with the app on my iPhone 14. Once I’ve recorded a few takes the sound goes out to where it’s barely audible. Cannot figure out the issue.
The best
I absolutely love this program. If it were available for PC, I would use no other. For someone who is a total tech incompetent like me, there is nothing else I would rather use.

A great app!
I use this app all the time to record ideas for songs and occasional conversations. It has editing capabilities and is everything I need in a pocket recorder.
