I am fortunate to have the delverb and the max compressor. And on their own they’re wonderful. The app I have had nothing but problems. There is only a few options and although my pedals are connected to Bluetooth - it freezes up and won’t do anything even shutting it down it doesn’t do anything. It disconnects, tap to reload the pedal and freezes back up. UA pretty please fix your app. I’m not angry just disappointed. Yall do great work but this piece of the puzzle - is your weakest point. I hate giving bad reviews but here we are

Despite back and forward with the tech support and following all their suggestions it still doesn’t work. App opens and buttons are responsive, but Bluetooth connection drops out constantly and takes pedal and app restarts to sometimes get it back connected again. Menus don’t open to access any of the additional tone presets. Have an IPhone 13, so not the phone, and totalled about 6 hours trying to make work. Won’t work and seems like UA don’t want anything to do with it.

I’m an owner of the Golden, Starlight and now the Delverb. These are all great pedals that all sound incredible. The app is very easy to use and offers a bunch of “set and forget features” that mean I can tweak my sound just that little bit more. I really like what Universal Audio have created. If I had one minor gripe it would be that the Delverb only allows you to tap in quarter notes. This is probably fine if you’re just playing guitar but when you’re playing and singing at a gig it’s a pain. I think the problem could easily be fixed in the app. Being able to set/save the tape delay as 8th notes then switch to the memory man and have dotted 8ths would be great.

Every time I try to connect to one of the pedals, the app crashes.

I was super happy with the usability. I found the pedal and synced it easily. The presets were super tasteful. Very pleased with the entire experience.

I normally do not write reviews, but this amp in combination makes me speechless. How can a such capable company like UA make such a poor decision. This app and the connection to the pedal is so unreliable and slow. It would be a better world if that app would not exist. UA must really hate their customers.

I’ve tried everything UA suggested, re-downloading app, resetting app, resetting pedal, forgetting pedal, re-adding pedal, re-pairing pedal. Nothing works. I’ve owned the pedal for three years now, and the app has only connected perhaps once or twice.

What this app needs is the ability to edit settings in the app (like the Ox Stomp implementation). Needs the ability to connect to all pedals that are powered up and Bluetooth connected - - add tab pages for each pedal and allow the user to quickly go between pedals. Give the user more options to load more then 1 preset into the pedal, or open up the interface to connect to a midi floor pedal that could then bring midi into the UAFX and then UAFX connect to the pedal.

I just bought the Enigmatic and downloaded the app. The Bluetooth sunk up easily and all the controls worked well from my phone to the device. I had the pedal sounding fairly decent on its own but the extra features on the app were essential for getting it fine tuned. Nicely done!

Impossible to add the Lion pedal. Enigmatic was no problem.
