More of an accessory to learning
App works great for what it is. As a stand alone method of learning a language I doubt you could get fluent no matter how long you use it for.
However, I think it works great as an accessory to your learning. Specifically for real paced listening practice.
The app won’t really help with your grammar, punctuation, writing or speaking skills. It’s mostly for vocab and listening.
Can’t open app
New user here. Can’t open the app, the loading screen perpetually spins/ loads.
Good!
Overall very good for memorising new vocabs & phases.
Just one thing from rating it 5 stars is that the scrolling mode (or watch mode? Idk) always run out of clips. I think it’ll be better for it to go on loop clips by clips so that we can strengthen the memories.
Very Good!
The best language learning app I have ever used.
I’m not good at writing reviews so I’ll keep it simple.
I love how Umi has incorporated spaced repetition, and also similar to Anki style! Saves me so much time making my own cards.
So very grateful for all who worked on this app. Thank you for making this language learning process easier and more enjoyable for me (´∀`)
I love it
I only just did two lessons and i love it. i like how much easier it is to remember when having example scenes played after each answer. it makes the lesson more fun even though the clips are only seconds long
