I have been waiting 3 months for the firmware fix that will enable the speed unlock. The chat AI is decent and more complex than other AI agents. The scooter has given me no issues, it's light and powerful enough to climb steep hills. Delivery was also prompt. You can email Unagi and they will truly get back to you within 1-3 days. I've had no issues with customer service but with the team responsible for the firmware, this is not the fault of the customer service team. Speed unlock should not be a feature, the scooter should be operational to the speed advertised. It should not take 3 months to fix something that you're charging customers for.

So I just received my model one and I’ve got to say that the packaging is horrible, the box is all tapped up and rigged, it did not come with a user set up guide, when I started the scooter and attempted to pair it with my phone and the app, nothing happened and my phone Bluetooth is on and discoverable. The app simple will not connect the scooter at all. Absolutely worse experience. Not to mention it too. 2 weeks to get it shipped to me yet unagi will expect full payment this month. Like wow.

Great Amazon Scam

As previous buyers have stated this is a huge scam. There is no phone support if you have an issue. You have to email back-and-forth and all they will do is swap you out a scooter and require you to take the old one to FedEx. And don’t throw away the box or else you’re going to have to spend extra money there to get it back. Out of the three scooters I have had since the trial with Amazon only one worked for more than two weeks since then in the past four months I have spent maybe a week total riding, do not buy this item. Return it and cancel.

I’ve had the scooter for a year and had a wonderful experience this far. But the new firmware update for the scooter blocking out the speed limiter was unexpected and quite a negative impact to the riding experience. I will change my rating to 5 as soon as it’s fixed 🙏🏿✅🙃

Terrible customers service and false advertising

Only bought the scooter because it claimed to go 20mph but that is a lie and false advertisement as it’s stuck at only 15mph, they claim it’s a software issue but they don’t seem to be doing anything at all to fix it. They seem lazy, they just want a quick money grab with getting as much Scooters out as possible. What’s worse is that customer support is almost non-existent—they don’t respond, and the help provided is ineffective. It’s frustrating, especially when I’ve invested in their product. I don’t recommend Unagi due to these consistent issues.

Simply long wait times in terms of weeks. The only time they are super responsive is when the bill needs to be paid but anything else and you’ll be ignored!

I got this scooter a few months back and I loved it, but just a few weeks ago, they released a software update that completely ruined my scooter and now it only goes 15mph instead of the advertised 20mph. Don’t waste your time on this scoooter.

Scooter delivered is dirty and ugly, delivery guy did not call to setup as promised during the purchase process, the app is unable to detect the scooter from last three days, AI CHATBOT is incapable to solve any problem, customer service only on weekdays. It’s a zero customer obsessed company. support videos are ineffective. Horrible experience to subscribe and rent scooter from here.
