Unfold: Collage & Story Maker

I’ve been using this app for a while now and the quality of the designs is what keeps me hooked! Compared to the competition, it looks sleek, clean and professional. Love some of the reels they have too!

I’ve been using Unfold for 4+ years to run my online business to using their templates and reels for my personal instagram. It really has everything you need without the fuss. I use the instagram planner which has been a complete life saver for me. I’ve tried other ones but I love how I can edit and tweak images or add effects and then add it directly to the planner. I’ve been using their link in bio called BioSites for a while now. It has such a streamlined design, no fuss, match your brand colors and update on your computer or on the go from the Unfold app (my favorite way to update). Their templates have saved me when I need to get some content up easily and quickly. Also their templates are honestly not like anything else I’ve seen out there. You can tell they have a killer design team behind the scenes making these one of a kind templates that will truly make your images and content stand out. That’s why I’ve trusted them over the years. You need to pay to access more features, but honestly it’s truly worth it imo. Also the carousel creation tool has been so fun to make carousel posts from scratch. Sorry I’m ranting how much I love this app now haha It’s my go-to social creation platform. Highly recommend! :)

I’ve litterally tried hundreds of apps to create stories and reels for instagram and this app is the most easy to use and well designed in this space. Anyone can create attention grabbing posts, stories and reels in just a few minutes— highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️

If you're looking for templates to help you grow your presence on social, don't look further! This is the best app out there! The design of the templates are amazing, from minimal to bold, there's a style for everything you need.

I recently tried the Unfold app and found their subscription pricing structure extremely confusing. There are four different pricing tiers for the "Unfold Pro" subscription, but it's unclear what differentiates them: Unfold Pro - Annual $54.99 per year Unfold Pro - Annual $59.99 per year Unfold Pro - Annual $69.99 per year Unfold Pro - Yearly $99.99 per year These multiple price points feel unnecessary and make it difficult to understand which option is the best choice. To make matters worse, I used the free trial but couldn't unsubscribe before it ended, resulting in a charge of $99.99 for the Yearly subscription. I contacted Apple support the same day to request a refund, asking if I could just be charged for the days I actually used the app. Unfortunately, my request was declined, and noted that the decision was final. The confusing pricing structure, combined with the difficulty in unsubscribing and lack of support, has left me frustrated. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this app.

There are endless simple things I would like to do with this app, though it does not deliver. At a pro subscription, I do not have the options to choose how images are cropped when animated. It either shoves it into a template format, or at the from scratch approach it does not customize as nicely as the templates. Templates are not adjustable, brand colors do not remove the rainbow backgrounds, can not position an image into a space (poor cropping), and do not have the animation capability from scratch. For the cost of pro, I should be able to make my own templates just as nice, or completely customize the existing templates. This app isn’t fully baked. Stick with free, and find something better for a pro service. There’s nothing pro about this.

App now includes a watermark that requires a subscription to remove. There are other apps in this category that I now recommend above this one.

THIS APP IS AMAZING BUT IT COULD USE A MAJOR MAJOR UPDATE!

Everything was fine until I updated and now I can’t place text anywhere outside of the photo section. I can’t move any text to the background areas.
