a lot of pop ups and avertising, not getting any matches (more than 40 people liked me).

I purchased the 6-month membership. Have had at least 10 women ghost me as soon as I said simple “hello” or “how are you today?” greetings. Tried to verify my account several times and it would never complete. I wanted to contact the company but it says “Oops, we’re having trouble sending you mail. Check your email settings.” However, it has no problem sending me emails to open the app and come look around. The chats are full of people who also can’t get a date and say most of the profiles are BOTS, so there’s no way to know if someone is real or not. There should at least be some kind of way to know if a person you “liked” has at least viewed your profile, because I have sent many “likes” and then would see their profiles again within 3-5 days. Seems as though people aren’t genuinely looking, they are BOTS, or they are just on here to find the impossible because they live in deluluville. Either way, once my subscription is over, I won’t be returning to use this app.

Typical dating app! Get ready to swipe through endless pictures of people who are 150/200/300 miles away from you.. little to no matching.. profiles are very basic.. do NOT recommend..

This app is a joke. I spent the money to get an upgraded account. You will never get a match nearby. Never closer than 250 miles. And then active convsatipns will just disappear. They’ll send you an email if you leave a negative review but the link to contact the developers doesn’t work. Save your money!

So basically, this app makes the free version unusable, which forces your hand into buying the paid membership. What happens is you make an account and get an initial flood of “likes” that you’ll never match with because it will never let you swipe on them. It also completely ignores your preferences, most important of those being distance. Been using this app for almost a month, and probably 10% of the people it’s shown me have been within my location preference (within 20 miles). On average, the people it shows me are 200 miles away. What’s the point of even letting me set location preferences in the first place? It also doesn’t seem to do a good job of getting rid of bots, as many profiles seem fake and spammy, which is probably where your initial flood of “likes” come from in the first place. It’s also a really annoying app to use with constant pop ups and ads. This app isn’t worth the paid version because as I said before, the “likes” you’ll get access to will likely be fake accounts.

Okay, while i just started using this app - I love everything about it. If you don’t want to pay for the extras, it’s not a big deal. The free version has a lot to offer. I met a really interesting & wholesome guy on Upward. We’ve been talking daily & going on a date soon! So, do not be discouraged that you cannot see all the people that like you…or just have all the extra stuff if you can’t afford it. You can eventually match w a person who could end up being something very special(-: & even if not - keep trying. There’s a lot great people in this world, but there is something different about God’s people. Godly dating is much better than the worldly way. Remember discernment of course bc there’s some not so good ppl mixed in there. But overall, this is a great place to find the potential one!

If you swipe or delete someone, you don’t see them again. You can’t get back to them. Not a very good system. So you’re stuck with liking them or swiping them off. I’m very disappointed. So beware when you first get on here if you think you’d like someone you better like them or you won’t see them again. 🙄🤷🏼‍♂️ Frustrating

I set my settings to only show certain details and I’m still seeing everyone. Would like the app a lot more if those settings worked.

I got a month subscription and it didn't add any features other than being able to see who liked me. You're limited to 3 preferences when describing the person you're looking for. It does NOT take any of your preferences into account (age, distance, etc). I limited to 30 miles and keep getting people from 300+ miles suggested. It was a COMPLETE waste of $30.

Unfortunately the in app payments for boosts on this Upward app will not work for me. They did keep my money though. I emailed their support as directed a couple days ago and got nothing back, except the below message: Address not found Your message wasn't delivered to [email protected] the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.
