Veezu / V Cars: Book a Ride

Ordered a taxi via the app, got a quote of £40. Looked on my card statement and they’ve charged me £49. Makes me distrust the app and the system. On the other hand those couple of drivers in Bristol area we had, they were excellent. But yeah, the pricing and charging is odd and annoying. Unless forced, don’t think I’ll use this app again. I want to pay exactly what I’m seeing and this app doesn’t do that.

Booked a cab, was quoted fare range from £8.80 to £9.80 - but when I completed the booking was actually charged £13! Immediately cancelled and booked with another well known company, fare was £10. Surely they should not be allowed to overcharge in this underhand way?!

I miss a medical appointment because your ride turned up late. Unfortunately that was my fist time of using the service. However the second ride was okay Kindly work on your phone call booking and tracking

I’ve been using vcars and then Veezu for long now and the unique shortcoming is that frequently the driver is assigned to your booking AFTER the wanted pick up time, resulting in 10 to 20 minutes delay of your journey. Allow extra time and book in advance.

Driver never arrived, complete waste of time

The rating and tip screen that appears after a journey has completed sometimes disappears before you can use it. After this it seems impossible to get back to it. It would be good if you could go back and pick a completed journey from the list to give a tip.

Decent enough for requesting a ride, but useless for tracking booked pickups. “You currently have no active bookings”…whilst I’m sat in the back of the actual taxi which has come to get me, after booking it 3 hours earlier. 🙄

Used to be a great taxi firm, since the app started I’ve been let down twice. Pre booked a cab. They didn’t book it. They allocate driver after time of booking. That’s not how to run a cab firm.

Booked a Taxi Wednesday night to go to A&E Bath but could not get me a car even though they took the booking Had to cancel Got Keynsham cars they were brilliant
