No point if you’re not from the US
You need a US phone number and address to register. Which excludes pretty much all
Tourists visiting the city. You don’t get this issue with Clipper, TAP or most of the other metro cards around the world. Having to unlock my device to tap in is also a pain.
What’s the point of Apple, Google and other manufacturers making a secure easy payment system if the US is so far behind most other countries?
Impossible to use
If I could give no stars I would. Can’t register my card as the app keeps hanging. It can’t even find where I am. It keeps crashing citing that it can’t connect to the server. I visiting Chicago and surely your transport system can do better?
Can’t register without a US address
Not very useful for tourists?
Impossible to buy Metra ticket
App keeps hanging, making it impossible to buy a ticket. Glad I wasn’t in a rush to buy it!
