VIOFO

In my first review on 9 Dec 2022, I wrote that the app crashed each time it tried to connect to the dash cam. Nine months later, the problem is still not fixed. Terrible.

After upgraded , cannot connect to camera. VIOFO Apps restart.

Viofo 129 pro issues with not registering changes made via apps. New app’s layout is great but useless as the files did not separate as it should. Ie parking files lock files n etc. 5 stars if viofo can fix the issues.

Stated i have firmware update but cant load to camera. Maybe could fix this bug?

Wifi not stable. When open video in connected wifi 5ghz is super long and not stable

Does not work. Loses connection to the camera almost always. Useless application.

The problem is that if you have wireless CarPlay in your car, this app and how it connects to your phone using WiFi it just doesn’t work. As soon as you disconnect CarPlay to connect to the dash cam it automatically connects back to CarPlay. It only works if you aren’t using wireless CarPlay. Even if you can see your videos through streaming from the VIOFO, it slow and keeps freezing like every few seconds. You might as well download the video to the computer from the dash cam. Don’t even think about downloading the video using the VIOFO WiFi, because even that is slow and time consuming.

This app works fine. I’m not experiencing the issues reported in the other reviews. I have iphone SE and the a229 plus camera. I was able to use app to change settings, watch live camera, watch videos and download videos. The downloads show in both the app in the local folder or in my photos section of my phone. I don’t have any complaints.
