Peruse ShipEats — the tech-easy way to order food to your cabin or pool area using The Band and the Virgin Voyages app.

GET IN LINE… BEFORE YOU GET IN LINE
While you’re relaxing in your cabin, you can get in “virtual queues” — saving yourself time and energy waiting for a table at any of the onboard eateries. Don’t worry, you’ll be notified when your table is ready.

MESSAGE
Message Sailor Services whenever you need help or advice. Bid adieu to the awkward phone call down to the lobby.

Great app when it works

We have been on 2 VV cruises so far and both we had a great experience with the app, for most part. My only feedback is for the developers to invest in more frequent updates to make the app more stable at sea and shore. Would be great to be able to book new voyages directly through the app!

Very unstable and badly working app

The idea of the app is great and it looks absolutely fantastic. But if you force your travelers to use the app and do everything with it, than make sure it works properly to start with. The app constantly crashes and the “send report” button on the crash screen doesn’t even work. While traveling the app can only be used on the - privacy compromising - WiFi of the ship. That is ridiculous, as this makes that being off ship on a trip, you cannot access the shore thing guide anymore. Nor can you make a dinner reservation of book a show for when you get back on the ship. Also the messenger service with the Sailor Services does not work. You cannot contact them thru the “message sailor services” button in the app. When you call them, they get annoyed that you don’t use the app. Please Virgin. Make sure you have a decent working, stable and acceptable app before you make everything before the trip and on board dependable on the app.
