There’s a glitch in the design of the app, where in you cannot see or press the “add to Siri” button on iPhone because you cannot scroll or see the entire layout of the program on the screen of the iPhone. It is only viewable / accessible on an iPad. It seems the app was designed for the iPad format and not fitted properly for the iPhone screen size.
App not working in Canada. Opened a ticket and days after no feedback.
Issue from previous message was fixed and I’m back to normal. Thanks.
If you are looking to get this app for the extra settings and programs offered, please know that it does not work with Canadian Vitamix machines. I spoke directly with Vitamix customer service, and they stated that while it may work with some Canadian machines. It is designed for US machines. You can still access recipes in the app. Works alright most of the time, but very disappointing that I cannot connect my machine to the app and get access to the 17 extra settings/programs offered to our southern neighbours.
Can i reinstall the previous version? This one sucks… the blend feature no longer works. I used to be able to liad in my ingredients and push blend and presto it did it all for me… i loved this, now it keeps saying add 64 ounce bla bla bla container… when i check it says 64 ounce container connected… but still it will not blend… just keeps telling me to add container! This is sooooo frustrating and disappointing! The one thing that i really loved about this app was that it read my container and did the blend for me, for any recipe.
Does not sync, deleted my recipes
For the record I liked this app… until you hid the only function I was using it for! On iPhone you’ve now hidden the only function I use in the app (blender program controls) 2 levels deep in the “more” section. I never use Pantry or Shopping List functions but for some reason those take up valuable navigation space. Why can’t I customize which shortcuts I want in my navigation bar? Or better yet, let me default to the blender screen when I launch the app!! Please hire a UX designer and understand how people actually want to use your app then design the app around that! (Feature wishlist: Also HomeKit / Siri integrations would be great so I never have to even open the app to select a blending program!)
Guys, Please fix this app, it’s the worst ever!!! It randomly sync to my machine and I can’t login to my account via the app but I can login fine through the website. Also it crashes so many times. For the money you guys charge for each machine, you can hire a decent developer. Please update this app ASAP or release a new one!!!
Blender 10/10 App 4/10 For the price of 10 blenders sold I’m sure someone could hire a proper app developer. When you have such a prestige physical product and it’s link to the modern world is so meh it muddies the vision. I hope there’s an update soon (last one 11mo ago)
This app is in dire need of an update. The blender controls get cuts off where dry chopping is. Please update this app!
