Outstanding customer suppoert
Recently, I wrote a comment with the title „Improvement needed“. As it turned out, the one who needs improvement is myself. Unfortunately, I can‘t comment on my own review, so I decided ro apologize to MakeItPerfectly. I never touched the „blend“ button when viewing a recipe, because I thought, the app would then instantly start the blender itself. Customer support amswered very thoroughly, leaving not a single quesrion unanswered. That‘s amazing and I‘m very thankful. Now that I dare to push the „blend“-button, I can do all the things I lacked in my previous comment which turned out to be unfounded. Once again, many thanks for the help!

iPad app works but iPhone app doesn’t
Maybe the developers think that all iPhones are phablets, in any case, this version of the app now doesn’t show the icon for blenders on an iPhone SE. The app appears to work on iPads but I don’t always have mine with me in the kitchen.
Frustrating that they don’t check that the app works on different sizes of iPhone before updating our iPhones. Now, I’ll have to use to use my iPad to control my Ascent 2500 Vitamix until they fix it.
Mehr als nur Verbesserungspotenzial
Zuerst: Mixer lässt sich einwandfrei verbinden, Programme laufen auch wie angegeben durch, sogar in einer Geschwindigkeit, die niedriger als die niederste Stufe des Drehrades ist. Allerdings sind manche Bereiche der App abgeschnitten, weil sie nicht für iOS 14 und die neueren apple Geräte angepasst sind. Das Grafikdesign könnte auch etwas moderner sein, aber zuerst sollte Vitamix für den Anspruch so hochpreisiger Geräte die Softwareabteilung in den Griff bekommen - ist eines Marktführers nicht würdig und entspricht nicht dem Stand der Zeit.

Warum nur gibt es für den besten Mixer ever keine gescheite App in deutsch? Das ist doch heutzutage kein Hexenwerk.

Ich konnte meine Waage und den Blender einwandfrei verbinden und das messen der Rezepte funktioniert gut. Was mir fehlt ist eine Funktion zum freien Food Tracking.
A high-end mixer with a useless app!
In LOVE with my Vitamix Ascent A3500i and TOTALLY disappointed with this app that does not even let you create an account! Neglecting the technology area of the business does not give Vitamix a good name.
Verbugged
Auf meinem iPhone wird das Layout für die vorinstallierten Programme im Querformat dargestellt, sodass die äußeren drei Programme rechts außerhalb des Displays liegen und sich somit nicht nutzen lassen. Das ärgert mich wirklich sehr, da ich eines davon WIRKLICH gerne nutzen würde.
Außerdem wird der A3500 in der App als nicht kompatibel beschrieben, was schlicht und ergreifend nicht stimmt. Als welches Modell mein A3500i nun verbunden ist weiß ich nicht, da sich das Programmlayout im Querformat über alle Infos erstreckt und nicht minimieren lässt.

App voller bugs
Die App scheint noch in den Kinderschuhen zu stecken. Zunächst sagt mir die App bei der Auswahl eines Mixers, dass mein 900 € Vitamix Gerät nicht mit der App zu bedienen sei. Über die Bluetooth Funktion kann ich den Mixer auch nicht connecten oder finden.
Dann konnte ich den Mixer doch irgendwie verbinden mit der Funktion, mit der eigentlich die Waage verbunden werden sollte. Mein Vitamix 3500i Wird mir dort als Vitamix v2.0 angezeigt.
wenn ich in der App in das Blender Menü gehe, werden mir dann auch zahlreiche Programme angeboten und diese werden tatsächlich an den Mixer gesendet. Im Display des Mixers wird das entsprechend angezeigt. Die App sendet also das Programm an den Mixer einwandfrei. Am Mixer muss ich nur noch die Starttaste drücken.
Wenn ich in der App die Rezepte Aufrufe und dann das Programm an den Mixer senden möchte, dann behauptet die App, das der falsche Aufsatz auf dem Gerät sei. Der Aufsatz wird also nicht erkannt, obwohl das mit dem direkten Programm einwandfrei funktioniert hat. Keines der Rezepte war mit dem Mixer zu benutzen. Damit ist die App weitgehend nutzlos.
Die zwei Sterne vergeben ich dafür, dass ich mit der App immerhin 17 Programm zur Auswahl habe die ich über Bluetooth an den Mixer senden kann.
Für die Preisklasse eines Highendgerätes ist diese App allerdings absoluter Schrott. Wenn das irgendwann mal funktioniert, dann ist es aber sicher sehr elegant über die App alle Rezepte an den Mixer zu senden...
