Great browser with one annoying fault
Vivaldi is a fantastic desktop browser for power users. It has great online security and multiple unique tools and display options especially with the latest update but I, like I imagine many of my contemporaries like to use the same iOS browser as my desktop browser. Obviously this offers continuity and convenience but iOS Vivaldi has one annoying fault.
Even on a Pro Max iPhone I find the text a little small for easy replies and edits so I use a 110% zoom. With other iOS browsers this is consistent with any forum comment and reply boxes but not so with Vivaldi.
While the Forum page and threads are zoomed the reply box, the part I need to edit, remains at about 85%.
This shouldn't be so because I know both Firefox and Brave zoom everything on the page including replies.
Great browser just missing dark mode on websites
As other browsers now have a feature where dark mode is forced on web pages, I’m hoping this feature will be implemented in the future.

Very very close
It’s an amazing first version of the app and I can’t wait to see the updates that I know will be coming to help improve it.
Just two things that are stopping me from making this my default browser.
1. Currently the passwords manager doesn’t support 3rd party password managers, if that ability would be added then I would be using this all the time.
2. While it’s not a deal breaker like 1. Is I would love the option to have the address bar at the bottom of the screen.

Missing Features
Long time user of Vivaldi on Windows and MacOS. I want to see this browser succeed. There are some things that I’ve noticed over the last 2 days of use that have hampered the experience. 1) No option to move the url bar to the bottom of the screen. 2) No ability to preview a link by long pressing it to glance at some information or a picture. You’re just presented with a basic list of buttons to press like copying the link or opening in a new tab. 3) When scrolling up slightly the tab/url bar and the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen immediately expand and force all the web content in the middle of your screen to erratically bounce around, which makes you lose your place. Tested this in Safari and Edge and neither do this — they manage to keep the content of the website exactly where it’s meant to be without jostling the page around and causing you to get lost. 4) It’s a pain to get to your bookmarks and requires jumping multiple menus deep. You’re essentially forced to use speed dial if you don’t like navigating the bookmarks menu. 5) No way to quickly close tabs with a gesture. Have to tap the very tiny X button on each tab one by one. 6) No way to separately search your phone browsing history, so you’re forced to see all of your synced website history from every logged in device. 7) No method to quickly add a bookmark to speed dial by long pressing it. You’re expected to tap the + button on the speed dial page then manually enter a URL or copy paste, which feels archaic and slow.
Well built but a bit bare-bones.
I’ve used the Vivaldi web browser on Windows previously for a long time. My favourite part of it was 100% the many customisation options. I’m really happy that the Vivaldi browser has been brought to iOS, but a bit disappointed with the limited customisation options.
Even though it’s not very feature-rich at the moment, I am confident that the developers of the mobile port will add a lot more options for customisation.

Worth the wait!
Finally that little compass has been purged from my dock! I’ll now be able to read linked websites on my phone without flashing pop ups advertising scams that large tech companies are so very happy to make profit from promoting. My home PC browsing experience is finally in my pocket!

Long awaited… I’m a long time user of Vivaldi on the desktop and have converted a number of other users too… The missing piece has always been an iOS browser - if nothing else, for all the synced content, but it has arrived with so much more features out of the box at release! Thank you so much!!
