I use Vivaldi on mac, windows and now iPhone. It’s the browser for those of us who used to enjoy web browsers.

Needs multiple windows support

I love desktop Vivaldi, but before this can be my default iPad browser it will need either tab tiling (like desktop) or at least multiple window support. Update: it has multi-window. Does everything I need now 😁

I use Vivaldi on three computers and an iPad

I use Vivaldi on three Win 10 &11 computers and an iPad and find it ease and intuitive to use. The tules on the front page don;t show any image or even colour on the iOS version, but the text is readable. I like the fact that the information is synched across all machines, it really helps. Sadly the calendar doesn’t sync with the iPad, but then niether does MS outlook which a real pain to use (work software) Compared to Outlook on the iPad, Vivaldi is so much better and works, unlike the outlook app. I use Gmail via Vivaldi, had it since launched and agin, simpler to use via Vivaldi, contacts simple, again the Outlook app fails miserably on that. Quit Chrome years ago as I don’t like trackers and the heavy PC resource use and use Duck Duck Go as my default search engine. There are a few websites that Vivaldi can’t open, especially if they use pop up confirmation boxes. Sadly I have to use Edge for those, but that is the only thing that annoying heavily populated intro browser is good for.

It syncing on iPad

Just changed browser to Vivaldi, reasonably happy except it’s not syncing across all devices, ok on iPhone, and iMac but not iPad. Thinking of returning to Edge?

Hopeless

It’s easier to break into Fort Knox than setting up sync on my iPad. Have deleted the app and will delete it on Windows laptop next. Better stick with Edge and Safari.

20.02.2024 Vivaldi App crashing on launch Feb.2024

Latest version now closes when opening on iPad iOS 17.3.1, worked well before.

Cool app, but it does occasionally crash

The app is very good with a lot of neat features and the pc version of this is even more brilliant. Only problem is this app does occasionally crash more frequently than other browsers but other than that it’s a very good browser.

Brilliant Browser!!!

I use Vivaldi on the desktop due to its many features that are carefully selected and curated, it basically includes what takes many extensions on other browsers. The sync across my desktops was great, so when it came to iOS I was overjoyed. It doesn’t disappoint, the UI provides many improvements over Safari, in terms of “tab” management , the speed dial, history and many others.
