It shows the synonyms for the previous word instead of the correct ones for “semantic”

I have used Climb and I really love how they structured the app to make it easy for learners and for us to remember the words we learnt. Atlas is cheaper but if only they could do what Climb did and I’ll be sold for life.

I enjoy learning new words through the app but for some vocabularies that I have already known, I notice instances where the app marked me as wrong when I’m picking the right answer. For example, on one question that asked for the explanation of the word ‘thrive’, I picked ‘to develop and grow well’ but the app responded that I was wrong and proceeded to show me the ‘right’ answer as ‘to make up for something lacking and negative’.

I’ve been searching for an app to improve my fluency and be more articulate with my speech, this app has everything literally, anything you can think of that you need and moreeee, additionally the way it quizzes and teaches is very effective.

DEC 2024 REQUESTS: ✅ Word Search to find existing words already in your app, that we can pull into our journal instead. At the moment… I find myself adding words into the journal that I brought in from reading a book or somewhere online.. Only to then add the word via Oxford and having to fill out definitions, I go through adding all that info, only to then… see that same word later in on, in one of the proficient courses. Therefore, having a search field that’s always up top of all screens (except test & quizzes screens) will let us know, if we already have that word. ✅ Ai fills in definition, synonyms & description of words that we add to our journal. Unfortunately, that the Oxford dictionary *greatly lacks* lots of words. To me it’s horrendous. I’m always having to fill in those areas of definition and details (time consuming) Please… use the free *open source* Ai model that exists (llama 2) for example is the best one on open source market. Download, distill it down (to miniaturize into a small model, only trained to know your app (it does not need all the internet knowledge) you distill it to where it knows how to get things done on your app and vocabulary. no internet required, you won’t have to pay for tokens to use it, since your distilling it, into a small model that’s only knowledgeable on your app and vocabulary… And since you distilled it to such a small model, it will live inside your app and will be able to run on the chip of iPhone device, even it’s an older iPhones like 11 Pro Max. So please… get you a model, distill it, to do these simple functions automatically, all done in app, no internet, the model costs you nothing, just some time to train it (about a week or less) your app is small. What this can potentially lead to further down the road… we’ll be able to have other forms of interactions with it, by having it create our own unique custom tests & quizzes, even games. I don’t normally leave reviews but this app makes learning fun and challenging. I am trying to build my vocabulary and understanding to better improve my skills at work and in every day life. I’m really enjoying it so far.

It’s self growing every day with new vocabulary
