Can’t login to the app

Option to reset password doesn’t work. The captcha is on forever loading. No option to use gmail to login. All this makes app unusable.

Pulchritudinous

It is a great tool to learn words but is a bit glitchy.

The dumbest thing ever while logging on

Its good but every time I exit I always get my account restarted and the date thingy is the most the most dumbest stupidest thing iv ever seen

Worst app ever

What does it mean when it says “Don’t rush”? Something to slow me down? I’m not even rushing. I doubt the producers even know the words correctly. This is my only source of anger and if there as a 0 star rating. Then I would definitely choose it. When it asks you to spell the word, what are the chances they say it correct? About 1/650000?

Better than the dictionary

It explains words in a way that is understandable, relatable and relevant. Unlike the dictionary which makes words seem the exact same as their synonyms, it paints all words differently so you know when to correctly use them.

THEY BROKE IT

Vocabulary.com recently decided to make their content PAID after their App was unable to update to the latest Apple requirements because the didn’t update anything on their end. Now suddenly you can download their App but good luck logging in because your email address and password doesn’t exist. If you email their customer service they will send you some completely irrelevant generic list of garbage and pretend it’s from a human. If you complain about this lack of disrespect they will pretend to apologize and ignore everything else regarding your now non-existence on their App. Don’t expect a real reply or a solution but they do demand $12US a month from you for an App THAT DOES NOT EVEN ALLOW YOU TO LOG IN. I’ve been a member for years and it was a great App with only occasional crashes. I wouldn’t mind $5AUD a month for the service I got then but what you get (or don’t get at all!!!) now is entirely unjustifiable. I still can’t log in - I don’t believe starting the problem could be any simpler and yet they have done NOTHING. There was no email to existing members about charging money and no loyalty to those members either. I think it’s quite a hostile jump from abandoning their app to deleting user accounts and then demanding nearly $20 Australian a month while your existence remains unrecognized. Despicable. And the so called extra featured are for extra on top of this new fee. Not sure what the money is used for because evidently it’s not for staff or App development.

Not the best

Doesn’t show the word I search. OALD is way better and it says “this is the best dictionary in the world” but it isn’t.

Very helpful app!

I like how you can easily search up words and add them to your list. Also gives you sentences which use the word in context. Another great thing is being able to add words from a book you’ve read by searching it up on lists. Highly recommended!
