Outstandingly detailed
Let me start by saying, I am not one for reviews and seldom make the time for it. However, this app is worthy an exception to the norm. As a reading enthusiast and an explorer of new words; I must say that this is the most comprehensive dictionary out there!!! (and I’ve tried many, if not all currently available on the I store). The interface is user friendly and search engine auto-suggests words by the letter, which is very useful for when you don’t have a particular word in mind and just wanting to explore any random new word. Then, we get to the explanation which is extremely thorough and sufficed on examples. The built-in auditory pronunciation of words are clean and clear. It is all you want in a dictionary and more!!! Thank you to the developers for a well thought out app. Keep up the good work!
Extremely disappointed
I purchased this app only to find out that its NOT compatible with the latest versions of iOS! The last update was 7YEARS AGO. This is absolutely ridiculous as you’re making users spend their money on an app that doesn’t even work with the current iOS. I will be expecting a refund.

This is an absolutely awesome app to build your vocabulary. You learn to spell the word, understand its meaning and how to use it!
Best vocabulary app I've used!
The only advancement I can think of, would be to allow me to program in a couple chosen words, and have the App talk through the description, etymology, use and real examples of where the word is being used i.e. exactly what it is currently doing, but now through listening not reading. This will allow me to learn whilst driving or whilst doing other things that render me incapacitated to read. Hope this feedback is useful! Is there an App that can already do this?
