Even if I know there is a wire, it doesn’t detect it every time. Trying to follow it one the wall, it disappears. And takes time to calibrate at each use. I have more success with my old 30$ wall detector that it is just « put on the wall and there you go ». Getting all wires without calibration. I emailed but answer was just that nothing to do with the DIY 2M, looks like this issue is expected.
I purchased the Walabot DIY2. This has been the best purchase I’ve made in years. Have used it several times and it’s always gets the center of the stud. The picture is so much better than a beeping and a light.
This is particularly helpful in installing grab bars in a bathroom ! It does work better than standard sensors and works okay viewing through thicker materials like old cement board and lath and plaster. I am looking forward for the upgrade accommodate older homes.
I have used the Walabot several times and it does what it claims. Easy to use and gets the job done
I got this to work once since Christmas. It’s now March. I plugged it in for a day to ensure a full charge. I hit the 30 second reset button. I reinstalled the app. It’s a DIY2 that’s supposed to work with my iPhone 11. Not happening. It’s a paperweight. Can I please get my $ back?

I had to install a few grab bars in the bathroom. I was able to see the studs, pipes and electrical. Just that one use made it a must have tool.
Très pratique et facile d’utilisation, pas de fils encombrants et pas de batteries a gérer. L’application IOS est en amélioration constante, donc l’outil devient plus efficace.
It is good to see what is in the wall before I cut it open and this unit saves me a lot of time and searches when looking for drain pipes and water lines
