No step count and no automatic workout detection
I’ve been using my Apple Watch for a while, and while it’s great for many things, two annoyances stand out: 1. No simple step count on the main screen. Why do I have to dig through menus or use third-party apps just to see how much I’ve walked? It’s 2025 – a basic step counter should be possible. 2. No automatic workout detection. Unless I manually start a workout, the watch doesn’t always catch it – even when I’m clearly active. That’s frustrating when trying to track progress accurately. Overall, it’s a sleek and useful device, but it drops the ball on some basic fitness features that should be standard by now. Those are features that sumsung has since the beginning of their smart watches (and I am talking about the cheap ones). Please consider adding these as toggleable features. They’re small changes, but they’d make a big difference for those of us who use the watch primarily for fitness tracking.
