Weber Connect

It works flawlessly. It holds our Wi-Fi connection all over the house. It is easy to use and you can use it for every single function on the grill. It is very well thought out and executed.

Ever since I installed the new version my SmokeFire loses the connection to the app. It will reconnect on its own but it seems to be very flaky.

Your grill the sear wood 600 xl is phenomenal. Perfect heat, most smoke from pellets are terrible but the sear wood has figured out how to use pellets better than any smoker I’ve ever used. Now that’s the pro onto the Con. Your app graph is useless. It doesn’t zoom in to see temp fluctuations. It doesn’t store the info so we can take notes on how the smoking went, and if I accidentally swipe up on my iPhone it loses the history from the start of the smoke and starts over again which is the worst out of all the problems. When I wake up and smoke at 5am and check my smoker at 9am and accidentally swipe up while I’m groggy in tha Am after an early AM I need the App to hold my data and provide it back to me when I want to review my results. Also for 1200$ I should get a shelf and not have to buy it cause that’s just ridiculous for that kind of money. Overall the grill is great but when I tell my friends I don’t focus on the positive just the weak parts when they also are deciding if they want to invest in a $1200 smoker grill combo. Thank you

It’s 4 degrees and the temp gauge isn’t working. I bought this digital grill with the knowledge that this series could withstand the extreme temps. Obviously I was wrong and not happy.

I have a Smokefire EX4 and this app makes it a bit convenient to control it. Where I have an issue with this app is, there really is no way for me to filter out the provided recipes by the type of grill I have. The amount of recipes are already limited to begin with but having no way for me to filter it makes it even worse. I don’t think I should have to jump over to PitBoss or Traeger website to find me a decent recipe for my Weber smoker.

Nuff said- the recipes wont load when selected. Just have the “retry” prompt and the circle logo when a recipe is selected.

This app is great for tracking my smoker temps without having to constantly go outside and manually check. The only annoyance is that it is device specific instead of account specific, meaning I would have to readd any probes if I log into a different device. It would be nice to be able to check the temps on any device by just logging into my account.

The app drains the battery in a day or 2 when it is not being used. Mind boggling that I can’t trust the device will have enough battery to cook an item on the grill.

I love what you have done with this app. Seems pretty well thought out. I have a request recommendation. Is there anyway to get support for the “Live Activity” function that iOS has now…don’t can display recipes on your Lock Screen and how much time is left

There is zero reason this app cannot be run on a modern desktop/laptop Mac other than the developer blocking access. My device my choice. Would avoid!
