The Weber Connect app is your secret ingredient for smart barbecuing!
Weber Connect is the companion app to Weber smart barbecues and devices. When paired to a Weber Connect barbecue or device, the app becomes your sensor dashboard, remote control and recipe book all in one!
Track temperatures from anywhere
The temperature of your barbecue is important. Weber Connect barbecues and devices can track your barbecue's temperature and alert you when it drops below your target temperature due to a flameout, or spikes due to a flareup. With the Weber Connect app you can monitor the barbecue's temperature and get alerts for important events.
Even more important is the temperature of your food! A few degrees are all that stand between perfect and overdone. Weber Connect barbecues and devices let you track your food's internal temperature precisely with connected food probes and transmit them to your app. Watch the temperature rise on the graph, so you know when it's almost time to head back outside to take the steaks off, or set a target temperature and get alerted when the steaks are done, no matter where you are.
Adjust the barbecue without getting up from your sofa.
Some Weber barbecues, like the SmokeFire, can have their cooking temperature and mode changed by the app. This means you can turn the heat up, go into SmokeBoost mode, or shut down your barbecue, without taking your eyes off the game.

Every recipe has been crafted and tested by Weber Grillmasters, and many are fan favourites, so you know you can't go wrong with any of them! The Weber Connect app is a useful tool for monitoring your cooking process with Weber smart thermometers. Whilst it has some great features, there is still room for improvement.
One of the highlights of the app is the addition of temperature graphs. Being able to visualise the temperature trends over time is incredibly helpful for monitoring your cooking progress. However, it would be even better if the app allowed users to zoom in on specific intervals for a more detailed analysis. Additionally, the ability to add notes at particular intervals would be a valuable feature, allowing users to make annotations and reminders during the cooking process.
Another area where the app could be enhanced is in the management of probes. Renaming the probes would make it easier to identify and keep track of different cooking tasks. This small but significant improvement would contribute to a smoother and more organised cooking experience.
One feature that is noticeably missing from the app is the option to add and save your own recipes. Having the ability to import and store your favourite recipes would be a convenient addition, allowing users to have all their cooking information in one place. This would streamline the cooking process and make it easier to refer back to recipes for future use.
Unfortunately, the app does not provide estimated cooking times based on current cooking speed and ambient temperature. This is a common feature found in many smart thermometers, and it would be beneficial to have this functionality in the Weber Connect app. Without it, users may have to rely solely on the thermometer's readings, which may not always accurately reflect the actual cooking progress.
Overall, the Weber Connect app is a solid companion for Weber smart thermometers, with its temperature graphs being a standout feature. Whilst there are areas for improvement, such as zooming in on the graphs, adding notes, and the ability to rename probes, the app still offers a convenient way to monitor your cooking. The inclusion of recipe management and estimated cooking times would further enhance its functionality. With continued updates and improvements, the Weber Connect app has the potential to become an even more valuable tool for cooking enthusiasts.

Still needs improvement
Some of the recipes have selection values missing. Example when cooking a sirloin strip steak - the thickness and doneness values are absent.
Selecting the burger recipe shows the doneness and thickness values in programming format, as if the values have been commented out.
Both visual and functionality of the app still needs plenty of improvement. I am half inclined to send the weber connect device back for a refund.
Useless
Brand new. Pairing with app obviously temperamental. Fan Error message indicates the barbecue is shutting down before it has started up. Both hardware component AND app immediately jammed up. What I want: smoking control and slow cooking precision. What I got: useless tech which doesn't work and cannot be overridden even for simpler hands-on cooking. Will be returning the item to the store in the morning.

Hit and miss connecting often have to re setup wireless through Bluetooth each time I use the bbq.
‘Documents’ take 1 Gb of storage on my iPad - give an option to delete that £%&*. I just want to read the probes to know when my food is ready.
Disappointed in the whole experience and will seriously think twice about purchasing Weber in the future.
Come on Weber, sort it out!
This app on the latest iOS no longer loads any recipes or cooking times. Makes it basically absolutely useless.
Complete garbage
How is it massive companies with massive budgets can’t deliver apps that work. This is one of the worst ever. £800 on a bbq and the app is probably the worst attempt at device connectivity I’ve ever experienced. It crashes constantly, won’t let me upload the receipt so I can register the device. Stick to making barbecues Weber.
WiFi does not work
This is my 3rd device, WiFi just does not work! Weber do something or loose lots of customers!
Won’t connect to wifi
Spent 2 days trying to connect to wifi. Doesn’t. Utter rubbish. Looking forward to inane reply.
