Weber Connect is the companion app to Weber smart barbecues and devices. When paired to a Weber Connect barbecue or device, the app becomes your sensor dashboard, remote control and recipe book all in one!
Track temperatures from anywhere
The temperature of your barbecue is important. Weber Connect barbecues and devices can track your barbecue's temperature and alert you when it drops below your target temperature due to a flameout, or spikes due to a flareup. With the Weber Connect app you can monitor the barbecue's temperature and get alerts for important events.
Even more important is the temperature of your food! A few degrees are all that stand between perfect and overdone. Weber Connect barbecues and devices let you track your food's internal temperature precisely with connected food probes and transmit them to your app. Watch the temperature rise on the graph, so you know when it's almost time to head back outside to take the steaks off, or set a target temperature and get alerted when the steaks are done, no matter where you are.
Adjust the barbecue without getting up from your sofa.
Some Weber barbecues, like the SmokeFire, can have their cooking temperature and mode changed by the app. This means you can turn the heat up, go into SmokeBoost mode, or shut down your barbecue, without taking your eyes off the game.

I don’t know if the app is useless or the grill or both together. Everything from the grill disconnecting from my phone for no reason to the grill not showing the current temperature to Weber not giving you a widget conveniently place on your home screen to easily see the temperatures.
This is typical of companies that want to place a selling point on their product by putting tech in it but not actually working to make that tech useful. all they did was put Wi-Fi on it and charged you an extra two to $300.
Where is
Where is the Apple Watch support already? Last year you guys told me you were working on it. When will this be available? It will make the connect a game changer!!
Edit………2 yrs later and still no support and my weber connect is no longer functioning properly.
Needs some additional features
Would love to see support for home and Lock Screen widgets as well as live activities and Dynamic Island support!

I give it 4 stars as I wish wish wish there was a watch app - would be good to monitor when floating in the pool!! Come on Weber!
Needs More
Needs: 1) More persistent alarms for pit out of temp range, food at temp, low fuel. One small alert may get missed versus an alarm that you have dismiss. Especially during overnight cooks. 2) Apple Watch support.

Webber Connect
What a fantastic thermostat meet thermometer. The wi-Fi signal is very strong throughout the house. My phone will pick it up when I have it on the grill, which is about 40 feet from the main house. This device has freed up my time so I can focus on other cooking matters thank you very much.

Backwards Updates
What once and at the tip of the fingertips, is no more. Now you cannot change the target temperatures on this version. The two main purposes of this app are grill and food temperature setting/monitoring. How can I not perform “live” revisions of my food temperature alerts, say after reaching crutch temperature? Weber you can do better than this colossal bug.
Update the app
This has been hit or miss for a while now. Haven’t been able to connect via Bluetooth or WiFi for last 2 days. Disappointed to say the least.
